The one thing constant about mini color expressions, is that there always seems to be an exception LOL. I'm sure that has a lot to do with minimal expressions being misinterpreted, and colors being put down wrong on registration papers, but it does make for confusion in trying to understand the genetics, at least for me.
I have a bay tobiano stallion, no face white, brown eyes, classic pattern - bred to a similarly marked mare I got the colt in my avatar, also no face white and brown eyes....and a mare with 2 blue eyes, a hint of a star, big snip and white on the underside of her muzzle, and lots more body white.
I have two other fillies from the same stallion and a minimal white bay tobi mare, both are sorrel pintos with one blue eye and one partial, both are homozygous tobis. Interestingly, most of his daughters are pinto, most of his colts are solid.
The only other blue eyed I have now is a solid - she is a Mime daughter, so we know where those came from LOL.
