Hi everyone. As you may know, I have rescued a big-horse filly from slaughter with only about a half-hour left before she was due to ship. There have been so many things that have popped up and we may not be able to afford it. We are looking for whatever we can get for donations to help get her safe. In all, she will cost about $4,000 to be alive, which is more then we can afford, despite how happy we are to have saved her.
- $2,490 in transport
- $580 bail (paid)
- $? Vet bill to test for Strangles, came back negative so she's clean and healthy
- $350 a month board
Due to the fact that she was unquarantined, she had to miss her transport date, and wait until the next time they go, so we have to pay 2 months board until the transporter can pick her up in October. If you can help, even a few dollars. Please donate via PayPal to [email protected] to help us pay for getting her home to British Columbia (From Honey Brook, PA) safe.
We were not expecting the $350 a month board, or the vet bill. We had planned out to bail her and have her be picked up that week, then it all went to heck... We also need a new truck before winter because our car won't make it through the Canadian snow or harsh cold very long.
