Alright everyone... it's been ages since I really did explain much here.

Things are kinda hectic and insane for me. I am Nathan's sole caregiver 24/7 three weeks of the month now. Dave recently started doing over the road trucking, and will probably be at it for 8 months before he can switch and try to find anything that'll have him home more often. This means I have very precious little time to do anything that requires much in the way of paying attention, or which has non-toddler friendly components. I did get the dream catcher mostly done, if anyone wants to see it (I can post pics tomorrow!)- it ended up being postponed a bit because Dave started his truck driving training and was gone 5 out of 7 days of the week for three weeks, and then at the end of the first week, my step-dad had some mini strokes. Yea, it's been a lot of adjusting and a lot of "Oh sh**!" moments... my step-dad is thankfully fine!

Nathan caught a cold right around the end of Dave's last training week, so the Monday he went to CA to start the rest of it all... Nathan was getting sick. Still dealing with his cold- thank heaven it's not the bronchitis like it was around Christmas! He's talking- says "Hi!" "Hey!" "No" (of course!) and "Hey Dere!" quite often. He's also so sweet, "giving" kisses - actually, it's him leaning in so you can give HIM a kiss, but whatever LOL He's such a sweetheart, and I'm the luckiest woman in the world to have him here with me.

Sadly, my "crafting" and drawing has been put on hold- as has my typing for the most part. About five days ago, my right hand/wrist/arm started to hurt, and while folding laundry became very VERY painful. It's been in a wrist brace as often as possible since, as it's the only thing that seems to help at all. My left hand/arm/wrist has flared up a few times too, but not nearly as bad. To add to the possibility of it being fibro, as the pain came on, so did overwhelming fatigue- as if I hadn't been sleeping much. It's bad enough that I'm trying to rehome my bettas (5 females, 2 males) because I can't take care of them right now- I'll miss them, but it's better for them.

... and now that I've lost my train of thought due to having to go take something away from Nathan, I suppose I'll end this ROFL

I'm still around, and still alive- just very limited. BTW, I did get my driver's permit awhile back, FINALLY... on my fourth test. And I've driven a few times, too! I had a few bad days when Dave left of CA- didn't eat much at all for over a day, but I'm mostly ok (if worn out) now.

Been thinking about some of you- hope everyone has a good summer, and I'm always saying a prayer when people ask, even if I'm not vocal here about it. I keep thinking of you Marty- man, I wish I could bring Nathan out there and we could get together for a little bit!

Take care everyone, and don't forget to keep Debs, Gini, and Marty in your thoughts!

Wonderful to hear an update on things. I hope the worn out and wrist pain goes away quickly. Nathan is growing up so fast. Your descriptions of him are precious. Take care.

I would love to see pictures of your dream catcher.

I'll see about getting them posted later today

I'll have to see about doing a couple Nathan pics, too- My goodness is he a WEED. Growing so much... I no longer have to bend over to hold his hand while walking around!

But I will NOT miss those toddler fists of fury! He clocked me in the jaw once at night, has hit me in the eyes, mouth, nose, and ****s countless times... and that's when he's just sitting on me or sleeping next to me!

He's going through the "I'm mad, so I'm going to hit you" stage right now, and still has some of the "I'm mad, so I'm going to fling my head backwards into you" going on. My mother's nose was broken by my brother doing that when he was little, so I'm really careful there!

Oh yes, I do remember that...very painful. They do not know their own strength. Looking forward to seeing pictures.
