I would really love to see some pictures of some nice show geldings.I want to see pictures from a variety of classes, to show their versatility.

This is OMP Pizazzs Yessiree Bob, an all around performance gelding. He does halter obstacle, driving obstacle, hunter and country pleasure. I never did showmanship with him because I simply don't like the class. It's right up there with halter, to me, sorry halter people! Bob was never worked regularly, he was always put on the back burner because he was so easy to train and I usually had something else that needed more time. He's only shown about every other year, but he missed this year. I'm hoping to bring him out next year, as my 3 year old son is really showing an interest in driving and I need to get Bob back in the swing of things, LOL. However, I've already comitted to showing a horse in halter next year, so if the money is there for Bob to show too, he will and if not...he'll have to wait another year.

We've had Bob since he was a yearling, and he's now 7 years old. He's not going anywhere!!

This is my three year old 33" gelding, Mouse. He has JUST started his performance career, so I have limited photos of him in the ring doing anything but halter.

He has done Hunter this year, though we're still VERY green at it (me more than he). I ordered a pro pic taken by the photog at one of the shows, but it's not here yet.

He is driving though not well enough for show, yet, so no pics of that, either.
default_smile.png

His pro photos should be here in a few weeks so hopefully I'll better be able to show him off.

He loves to show and so far seems to have a good mind for the performance classes we want to try. We've been having a lot of fun and if his younger brother does not sell over the next few months, I will have fun showing him in the junior gelding classes as well.

Patty and Erica's Gimmie Another Glance are an awesome team. Lance has won Youth Geldings and Youth Country Pleasure at Nationals, and finished his Hall of Fame in Halter and Country Pleasure with her this year.

This is my boy Dawgpatches Tip Me Over. We just recently leased him to buy and he is an all over good GREAT boy. Currently he has just done some driving with us and showmanship. Today he went on a 2 mile "country" drive and was such a trooper.

Here are my boys,

Mini Mounts Lucky Zeus - 31" Yearling AMHA/AMHR gelding. Champion of Champions at NY state fair as only a weanling! Junior reserve champ at Area 1 this year (he is still a bit pudgy ;)) Next year he will be competing in showmanship and obstacle along with halter.

I LOVE THIS HORSE. His personality is amazing!

And here is Half Moon Farm Sylvias Pride - 33" AMHA/AMHR 8 Year old. He is just my all around local show fun horse. He may be doing some AMHA/AMHR shows for performance. He is learning to drive.

He doesn't do Halter, but that is about the only class he doesn't perform in. Next season we will be competing in hunter, In-hand obstacle, showmanship, liberty, costume, country pleasure, and obstacle driving. Whew! I can't wait.

Here is my gelding. His name is Rocking JM 3T Bruce Almighty. He is an amazing show horse and has accomplished a lot. I only show him in halter right now but i am thinking about putting him with a driving trainer for next year. He has a lot of potential as a driving horse. He has been a 2X AMHR National Champion, 4X AMHR Reserve National Champion, 1X AMHR National Top Five AMHA Reserve World Champion, and 3X AMHA World Top Ten. I just recently went Reserve National Champion with him in youth this year at AMHR Nationals.

Here is a picture of him earlier this year when he was in Florida

And here are some pictures of him from nationals this year.

This is LBFs Commodity Blues, such a great boy, AMHA and AMHR National Champion Gelding to drive, AMHR National Champion Ammy halter gelding, multiple top tens in both registries in halter and driving.

I love show geldings and have four nice ones. If someone wants the best bet at just flat out enjoying a miniature horse, I think a gelding is the way to go.

Here is Tibbs Sundowner, 9x National / Reserve National Champion. He is a 34" on the button halter horse but also trained so good for showmanship and he will be driving this fall. He is an amazing horse, inside and out. He's almost magical to handle.

This is Little Kings BT Bacardi Gold, a 2yo B division son of BTU. Of all my horses, I think Bacardi tries the hardest to do what I want. I click with him big time. Bacardi brought home a supreme at his first ever show and it was in fact the first supreme any of my horses have gotten. It meant a lot as I did all his training, conditioning and showing.

Then this is my first ever show horse, Triple H Derby Day Miracle. He used to be my show stallion, but he is now a gelding. He is a no worries type of horse to enjoy and is a lot of fun to drive and just love. He's too thin here (was with a trainer) but he's far from thin at this moment in time
default_rolleyes.gif
: Derby had many halter and performance wins when he was shown.

Derby%20--%20Silver%20Star%20Show%20--%20May%2010,%202004%20075.jpg

Lastly for my show geldings, here is Whinny For Me's Skippin Miracle. He's the first home bred horse we raised. He is Derby's son. I only showed him a few times, but he was champion in each case. He, and his daddy, are very smart horses.

Here are our two boys, we have both an under gelding and an over. After showing both the past couple of years we are starting them in harness so we can continue using them for more years to come. They are both babies of ours we have raised and do not want to just put them out in the field and leave them. The first is H Smokin' Colt Pistol, he is a 2005 Reserve National Champion and he has all his grands, only lacks a couple of points for his HOF. I am soooo looking forward to seeing him in the arena next year behind a cart. He is really very sharp looking. He is so prancy! He also can take a bow, and will give kisses freely. Can you tell I love this guy
default_wub.png
: I agree with Jill, nothing like a gelding!

f431fac9.jpg

Next is Mini H Smokin' Most Wanted, our over gelding, he is a two time National Top Ten in 2005 and 2006. We have started Mo in harness also. He is taking to it like a duck to water. :bgrin A very easy going and mild mannered horse, he will do just about anything you ask him.

This is Black Ties Custom Color. 2 years old this year. I showed him as a weanling and yearling but let him rest this year to work on some of my other horses. Starting him in cart this winter hopefully and obstacle.

luckyshowpictureJuly05cropped.jpg

His brother is Black Ties Patches of Glory, 3 years old this year. It was his first year of limited driving, only put him in a nonrated class this year. Did well in hand obstacle and hopefully some jumping next year.

Both boys are so great as geldings and so willing. Just as much fun as they were as stallions but can be with the mares and much better behaved. Gives their brain a reason to listen to ya!
