Show halter question

ok, im planing on showing my "studmuffin"

this year,

so I am looking at show halters. He is a blue roan so red is the only

color that seems to look good on him, or just a silver/gold one.

my problem is that IMO his head is a bit bigger than Id like.

Its nice and dishy with big eyes, but still big. IMO

so do I go witha very plain halter to not draw attention to it,

or do I cover it up with a flashy one with conchos and all?

Do you have a head shot of him you might post here? Hard to say without seeing him, but in general I've found the plain sides with just a concho, along with a somewhat wider noseband in a flattering color look pretty good on most horses.

well this is the only pick I found on our new computer. lol
