Well, yesterday it started snowing (we have been in the mid to high 50's). The weatherman said we should get 1-2 inches on the valley floor last night. By 4:00am we had over 20". I had gotten up to make sure that the horses could get into their stalls. They were outside. I gave more hay to try to get them to come in. They came in to see what I was doing and went back out. Go figure. Then I have spent the day taking family members (I have a Chevy 4x4 truck) to the store to get supplies and us some kerosene in case the electric goes out. They said it would stop snowing by 10:00am. Well, it didn't. We are getting some melt off but They may have a snow day for the kids tomorrow. Especially if we get another 1-2" (that turned into 20") like we did last night. The horses are running and playing in the snow along with the kids sleding in the pasture. I just told the kids watch that you don't run over the horses.
