I'm excited we haven't had a house cat in a long time

We went and picked out a Ragdoll kitten last week ... we pick her up 11/18

she's just adorable. No name yet but here are a few pics the breeder sent us

since we didn't take our camera when we went to see them

We haven't had a house cat in a long time also. I would love a Ragdoll too. I thought I read that they are a little more of a "dog" like personality? Kind of a none-pushy lap type cat? Can anyone who has owned one/some tell me ?
