Ooh Ooh Ooh I have some good stuff planned since it might snow and all will be hunkered in the barn. You will NEVER guess what Santa left in the horse's stockings? Brand new SCRUNCHIES!!!

The weekends are when I do my ultimate total fussy grooming from head to toe and I cannot wait to try them out and see how they look on the girls. Going to do the show-sheen stuff, scrub legs really good with a rubber brush and spray with a good round of Listerene, apply foot stuff that they do not need applied, and fuss extra with Angel just because....

Next I am going to start the year off with de-worming everyone with Strongid. Then I'll be hanging up mineral feeders in the and do a general tack room clean up. I honestly need to over haul it again because it is getting so nasty out of control dis-organized so I'll see how much I can accomplish.

I have started to re-organize my desk and shelves and make room for my Cricut machine and all those accessories that go with it. This should get interesting. LOL. Great. Now I need a craft room. I really need a bigger house.

So whatchadoingthisweekend?

Remember not to let anyone you know drink and drive. Stay Safe.

Love to all!

Well weekends around here usually are all horse days, but this one is starting out with two of my grand kids coming tonight to spend it with me. Their Dad is in the hospital and my daughter his wife is going to stay with him, it's pretty serious. Any how hubby will probably have to feed by himself in the morning, both kids are not feeling well and I don't want them out in the cold. The weather man is calling for snow! Just a touch this time, but more comeing on Tues. Hate the cold, hate the heat. Come on Spring, can't wait to clip the furry new babies and see what they look like and which ones will be shown. Have a great weekend, and of course we won't drink and drive, heaven forbid.

Judy and I are hauling two horses to Mike McCabes for their owners from the East Coast. Both are horses I used to own, a mare and a gelding. Kind of strange having them in our barn this past week.

Sunday, who knows, maybe practice my new crochet skills.

Today was farrier day, and all went very well.

The weather is supposed to turn very cold, so I'll probably be holed up in the house, perhaps I'll get a little quilting done.

Waiting for it to snow...or not

Gophers are taking over the world...need to deal with that..if the ground ever unfreezes. From there.. a long nap is sounding nice.

Oh busy, busy weekend...went skiing from 3:30-8:30 last night!

Equestrian Team practice today, then riding after that, picking up some of my artwork from a friend to work on for school. Tomorrow I'll be working on my art projects- trying to finish a hand drawn horse animation for commercial art class, 3 different paintings (the 4th is at school) for oil and acrylics class, a few projects on Photoshop. And riding again.

And of course playing with my ponies and my new KITTEN!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Working until noon today, stop at the store on the way home and pick up a few things. This afternoon probably watch the PA Farm Show on the cable network, we have local people in competition there in different horse classes and perhaps make a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup since we have lots of snow now and cold temps. Barn work way later this afternoon. Sunday will be clean house day and laundry and perhaps bake some yummys and watch more Farm Show classes, the show runs for over a week so we will be pretty much glued to the TV to see how everyone does.....

Saturday we'll be battening down the hatches. A cold front is coming in with subfreezing temps, so we fill all the tanks and water buckets because all the taps will freeze. We are actually supposed to get SNOW!! I did find one tank heater but I think we left all the others in PA. I mean, really- who needs heaters in TEXAS?

Plus we will finish off the one run in shed for Flash, her's needs the walls put up. And I'd like to drive Sunny some.

Sunday will be hibernate day. Temps will be dropping, and the rain will change to snow!

Sometime this weekend I gotta do laundry- which is a hassle since my washer broke I have to go to the laudromat. ick.

Had to work today - it's tax season/payroll month, so my Saturdays will be spent in an office this month. Tomorrow will be a laundry and horse day. Just found out there will be a big ammy division at the "A" show next month so I have to get my rear in gear. I'm looking forward to it - would much rather be doing things with the horses then be in the house doing stuff.

Have a great "rest of the weekend".
