I was at Walmart today and they had small Stanley wet/dry vacs on sale for $20. I bought one thinking I would try it on the minis. It works GREAT! Peanut did not mind it as it was fairly quiet. He danced a little but then settled down and enjoyed a deep cleaning. I held the nozzle sideways so that the suction was not super strong.

I just thought I would post it here in case anyone wants to try one. It's the 1.5 hp model and is light enough to hold and vac if the horse is steady.

You could take a file or dremel and make rounded notches in the end of the hose that way it would work like a comb, just make them deep enough so they can suck air too ,I'm sure you don't need many groves, I used to have a pet brush for one of my old vac's years ago.

Just a thought maybe I should have invested it huh.
