My poor little colt, Stetson, is having surgery tommorrow. He is having his little manleys removed.

: By this time tommorrow he will be a gelding. I dont think he'll be to happy about loosing them but Im happy about it.

: I plan to use him as a show horse and geldings, in my opinion, are so much more fun to show! He will also now be able to run free with our girls without us worrying. Keep him in your thoughts tommorrow around 1:00.

Stetson is a pretty little boy. He will make you a great little show gelding. Geldings are the funnest thing to show. Aubrey

I'll be thinking about him for you! I'm sure he'll be just fine and SO happy, geldings are so much fun AND so much easier to keep and show. I'm a huge supporter of gelding!

Yaaay! I am so glad you are keeping and showing little Stetson. He is SUCH a little doll. He was such a pretty baby, but I think he is even prettier now. He is just growing up so nicely! Great job with him and congratulations on your "new" gelding. I just loooove his blue eyes! Do you have his momma bred back the same way for this year?

Yea , Stetson is going to show. Can't wait. I just love him , he is such a sweet little boy.

And I just love his blue eyes. Guess its time to sign my two little men up for the surgery. Everyone else is having it done.

It is getting closer to spring and its going to get loud around here then. LOl :new_shocked:

Stetson is such a cutie! Good luck to him!

Stetson is adorable !!! Hope we get to see him at the East Coast Spring Fling in Camden, S.C. in April !!

Bungi had his surgery yesterday and he's out with his buddies running wide open.

Thanks! Stetson is now officially a gelding!

: His surgery was finished up about an hour ago and he's in his stall resting now. This coming week is going to be fun!

: We have to rinse the incision out for 15 minutes with cold water, exercise him for 30 minutes, and then rinse it out again for 15 minutes twice a day for 6 days. After his 24 hrs of stall rest he is going to have to be kept outside 24/7 so he can move around. Poor guy loves his stall!

Skyler isnt bred right now. Stetson's daddy is in Ohio and I would prefer to breed her to a bay anyway...he was a buckskin. We are thinking about breeding her this spring for a 2007 foal. I have the stallion picked out if we do decide to breed her....he's a solid bay with blue eyes. Gorgeous! Im trying to get a buckskin with blue eyes from her since she has 1 blue eye also. Hope to see you at the meeting this weekend!
