Now I guess it can be said you can never believe college professors or IRS employees, after all they are probably socialist

I will reinterate one more time what I truly believe and that is that no matter who is elected to be our President taxes will go up. If not on a national level it will come back on the states. I really dont see how anyone doesnt see that with the huge bail out there is no other way to fund it if not with taxes then some other way that will still take money from our income. Taxes have NEVER in my lifetime stayed the course or gone down. IF they go down on income tax they go up on the products we buy. If the feds dont get it the state does and if the state doesnt the locals add something new to eat up any benefit we see.

I'm inclined to agree with backwoodsnanny. Barney Frank and Pelosi et.al. are already working on another millions of dollar House Bill. Frank is saying "Forget the deficit. We need to spend more." How in the world can we forget the deficit? I know quite often we Americans would rather ignore unpleasant things....but pleeeeese.

One important thing people aren't paying much attention to is that there are some Supreme Court Justices been holding on until a democrat got into office - some older conservatives also that will not be able to hold on until another republican president gets into office..... Several most likely will retire or die during Obama's term........ Remember folks these Supreme Court Justices are in place FOR LIFE. MOST likely will be replaced with liberals.

Sorry, not really this threads topic but it does tie into the picture as a whole.

Perhaps I can get Lee, my teacher husband to do a thread on HOW important a consideration this is to we Americans.
