A heart thank you to Dana Bryan at Dreamweaver !! Not only did she allow lots of people to bring horses to her house to be worked on by Gary Fluhr, the equine dentist. She also cooked the most delicious, tender beef brisket I've ever had! And it sure was fun hanging out with all those who brought horses...Neva, Alicia, Rhonda, Susan and of course Dana's daughters and their friends. Sorry, can't remember the name of the guy that brought the 2 quarter horses.

Gary commented when we left that he was VERY IMPRESSED with how well mannered everyone's horses were and VERY IMPRESSED with their owners and their desire to learn. He's definitely looking forward to coming back because he had fun, too.

And Dana, I want the recipe for what you put in that corn!! It was awesome too.

Jean, I would like to thank you for calling me and letting me know the date had been changed. There were several others (myself included) who were excited about the 'teeth event' and had planned on bringing several horses to have their teeth done. Unfortunately, the new date was on the same day as our first monthly open horse show (which put in mini classes for us) and we felt we needed to support that show with our presence (even tho a couple of us didn't show). Maybe next time.

Jean, Thanks for letting me know about the event, but I couldn't make it due to food poisoning.

Jean, I can't thank you enough for bringing Gary to us! I know it was hard to get him here since he only had a few days. And boy weren't we surprised that so many were able to show up! I still thought it was just going to be You, Gary and me on Saturday!! Maybe next time we might have the schedule to work around the local shows.....

It was such an educational experiance for all of us. And the horses are doing great. We even drove Sy & Iza on Tuesday for a big photo shoot and all was well. I can't wait to get Gary back here again!!!

And...there were several herbs in the corn, but the biggest secret is home grown chives add for that wonderful taste! It really sets it off!

I can't thank Gary & Jean enough for coming...
