That photo is so interesting. The technology is simple by today’s standards but it worked and changed things forever.

All except the harness, it worked then and it works now and doesn’t need changing! Love the horse!

Not funny. Look how hard those horses are working. I've been in this same situation with our 37 hp Kubota tractor, rescuing a mired car. I was barely able to get the car out. It was awash in mud; when it finally came onto dry ground, the mud poured out of the open doors. Those folks were so stressed they never even thanked me. I am wondering if these horses were successful. Bet they had to add another team...
