The way I see it, PERFECT each horses training before starting on a new one. You have 3 horses to show, thats MORE then enough. Trust me, its hard enough with 2!!!!
Leeana, I REALLY don't like the way you handle the buying of horses. Personally, I think that unless you are a PROFFESIONAL trainer, and are being paid to train horses, you should only have a fairly small number of horses - and with those horses, have them trained to the level that you need them to be.
Leeana, you have 3 horses that have the ability to show. Concentrate on them, and save the money you would be using to buy the perfect show tack and pay for entry fees.

No comments on the foaling out issue, but, I am going by memory here, she has had this stallion for a long time and he's in his 20's? They do tricks, driving, and lots of fun, I've seen it in pics. So I think she can handle him pretty well.fourhorses said:I am sooooo glad to read so many "devil's advocate" posts to this thread.
Leeana, I don't know you and I surely don't want to come across as someone who knows it all but it is distressing to read some of your threads. On the rescue forum you have a yearling Arab for sale because you can't handle him. You posted a few weeks ago in regards to your sister's horse, you went to an auction and bought a mare, in foal no less, you have a stallion. How much experience do you have foaling out. How much experience, at your young age in breeding and handling a stallion? Has your stallion dropped? Are you prepared for when his "stallion" behaviour kicks in?
I am in NO position to judge but you worry me. Please, stop. The welfare of the horses is of the utmost importance and while it's wonderful that you have money why not spend it on the ones you have. What will happen to all these horses when you go to college?

Sorry about that, I just relized the mistake I done. I still go by the hardshipping though. If you want to pay that huge amount to hardship him into AMHA and again do it for AMHR its going to be costly.LoveCoco said:Sunraye ...thats midnights horse. My stud, striker, is only 3 years old and rides and ground drives.
Midnights horses do the tricks i think.
