Thought this was our last foal for 2010

We were waiting and waiting for our final foal...This sweet little lady arrived, and of course, not without some problems, all 15.5 inches in height is here and happy and healthy.

While bathing what I thought was an open mare yesterday, I noticed she is making an udder.

She could not be possibly having a foal till August but nevertheless, I believe we are going to have sleepless nights starting in August

We have had a lot of foaling problems this year so really hoped we were finished for 2010.

I think that feeling the start of an udder end of May is pretty early for a foal that can not be viable till August. Just not sure what's going on here.

What a cutie!!

I'd be really worried about that mare bagging up now. What about some SMZs, Regumate and Banamine? We went through that this year with one of our mares and she's still in foal. I'd think it would be worth a try.
