TV Shows Worth Catching on DVD

DUE SOUTH is fun.

OMG, someone else is a Due South fan?!?!?!

I LOVED that show! And I always wondered if all the jokes were understood in the US. My Sister-in-law was going to school near where they were taping it for a bit, she went up to Paul Gross' trailer and asked for an autograph for me!!!

I have it framed still!

As for others, I have most of the Gilmour Girls on DVD, ALL of the Friends seasons, House, Heroes, have some of Night Court, and I'd really like to get La Femme Nikita and Cheers.

Oh, almost forgot, I really like Lipstick Jungle too.

I have all 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1 plus Stargate, Stargate The Ark Of Truth and have the first 3 seasons of Stargate Atlantis. I also have all 3 seasons of Roswell. My husband has the first six seasons of Smallville. I also have seen the first season of Heros, borrowed it from my friend and will have to buy it and season 2.

I had actually watched them "back when" but it was super fun to watch them again! They are both pretty good series. We just mix in the TV ones with movies, every other selection.

McLEOD'S DAUGHTERS! takes place on a station in Australia and is very addicting! jennifer

LOVE McLeod's Daughters. One of my favorite shows.

Another great series is Northern Exposure. And of course my all time favorite Little House on the Prairie.

I was intrigued when I got the Dexter second season DVD for my secret santa. Now my husband and I are hooked and just finished season one. Great show! It can be a bit gruesome but good storylines.

Another favorite is "Big Love" on HBO. We really like that show, too. It's about a polygamist sect. ETA: I like Monk, too.

The first season of "NYPD Blue"! I didn't begin watching it until three or four years in; had commented to my daughter that I'd never seen it, even in TNT reruns..so she gave it to me for Christmas! I am not a particular 'fan' of David Caruso, but do think he was 'just right' in that particular role, and was an IDIOT to walk away after just one year...Ah, those celebrity egos!

In any case, I've REALLY enjoyed having it, best of all w/o the ADS!
