unruly manes!!

My mini came to us with a very chopped up mane and tail. Now it is growing out and it is super thick and wild.

What do you do to make it a nice, beautiful, laying down on one side, tame mane?

My mares mane is very thick also...so what I do is lift it up and shave a little from the bottom to thin it out and to get it on one side I've braided her mane to one side or I've even used a slinky to traine a mane to stay on one side.

I would like to know also. Smarty's mane is thick and usually stands up like Don Kings hair.

I keep the manes braided and thin it with a thinning comb. I usually don't need a sleezy unless they like to rub or they are in a group it that gives added protections
