Alana is now in the PICU. She is really in a lot of pain and is getting the iv morphine. The lungs on one side started collapsing as there had been some bleeding during the procedure. So far so good, as our little one comes thru this! She will be in PICU until Sunday and then a regular room. Hopefully she will be home by Wednesday.

Now the wait begins for the biopsy results. From what I'm told it will be at least 3 weeks until we get them.

This will be the longest wait for all of us.

The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers for our little one. I'll keep you updated as soon as I know whats going on. We all believe in the power of prayer, as it has brought each of us thru some trying times.

Thanks Again

Gini, please tell her mom and dad that we are thinking of them as well, I know how hard it must be for them and for you as well, seeing her have to endure all this. Nothing pains us more than to see our little ones hurting..... She is such a cutie!

I just had her picture out today! I was talking to my husband Carl about her and he said he'd like to see her..what an Angel she is and prayers from our hearts are being sent her way every day till we know she is again feeling out of pain and much much healthier!

May God bring comfort and healing to Alana while giving her parents strength and courage during this time and supplying all needs. We all care and are just a click away. Thank you so much for the update.

God bless,

Joan

I am so sorry that she is in pain, but hope that the tests reveal lots of answers to help her recover fully.

Well more prayers from Kansas and lots of prayers for the Doctors and all involved in her care to help heal this little one!

Alana and your family are staying in my prayers. I am so sorry it takes so long for results to come back. Praying for as easy a time as possible, and for healing.

My continued prayers are with you and your family, and most especially Alana, during this terrible time of distress.
