Update on Tekla's surgery

Thank you everyone for all your thoughts & well wishes for Tekla. It turned out to be a very bad infection in her salivary gland. So after 1.5 surgery my vet took her gland out. So now with a drain & new Antibotics hopefully this will be all behind her. It seems last month when she pierced her gum with a marrow bone it festered into this huge infection. So now she has a $600 dollar face

But she is well worth it!! Thanks again, sorry about the size of pic. I can't figure out how to make them smaller.

Oh the poor little girl! She does look so miserable. Continued prayers that she has a speady recovery. I hear you about the $600.00 face, but look at how cute she is! She is worth every penny! (My dog has an $800.00 tummy tuck as he ate a pet bed at 5 months old and it had to be surgically removed.

Oh now there's the cutie pie!!! Thank goodness she's back at home with you now and all fixed up. I will say a little prayer for a speedy healing so that she may be well and herself in no time. Yep these little creatures sure do keep us on our toes. What breed is she...she's adorable! And who is that cutie in the corner where all I see is his/her eye?
