It's been almost 5 months since we rescued my 26 yr. old Quarter Horse gelding "Boogie". I've been so happy with how he's put his weight on and he just keeps looking better!

Here's what he looked like before; April 4th~

Wow, he looks great, looks like you about cut his age in half (by his looks).

He looks wonderful. Congratulations on all your hard work. I've done one rescue horse; I know how hard it can be. Bless you for your efforts.

He looks like a new horse! A happy, healthy new horse.

Great job, he looks so much better, you're wonderful for giving him a second chance.

Wow what a difference you have made to this horse, you can just see the sparkle in his eyes, he knows he is loved. What a pretty colour he is now, you can almost see him glow with good health, amazing what a little TLC will do. Thank you for giving this horse a second chance

You have done a fantastic job. Just look at him....hes not even close to the same horse. Im so happy you found each other. I cant stop looking at him> he is now one happy guy!!

Aw, he looks so happy now...you are awesome!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys! He's the sweetest horse and is SO gentle, my little brothers and sisters always go up and hug him when they come outside and he's grazing on the lawn. It's really sweet. You'd never know he's 26, by the way he looks or acts! Just the other day he was ripping around the pasture (shoulda taken pics and a video darn) showing off and prancing, he moves really good for a 26 yr. old! And when you ride him you feel like you're on an Arabian! He PRANCES the whole ride, doesn't get out of control at all, but he just prances! And he's always the lead horse, he walks faster than all the young horses, and you can tell he really enjoys going on trail rides.

He has such a heart of gold, really loves people and is great with little kids, lets them lead him around with just a small piece of twine around his neck. I can't believe someone would take such horrible care of such an amazing horse, she really had no idea what a true treasure she had. Boogie is spoiled now, gets the best quality grass hay, real nice alfalfa hay, plus good ol' Equine Senior and he gets to graze on the lawn (lucky boy cause non of the other horses get to do that lol); he's always got food in front of him, he's a happy boy now and thats how he'll be the rest of his life.
