To my Formun Horse Family
I just wanted to Thank each of you from the bottom of my heart. I came on
each day and read your incredible reply's to Cashmere. They touch my heart beyond
words will ever say. Thank You for your support this week. You will never know how
much I needed you.
I would have written sooner, but after loosing Cashmere on Monday, my week really
took its toll. I work on Tuesday, my boss was fantastic about entire thing. My missing,
and loosing the mare. She was really great. But Tuesday night, I got so sick.
My body was hurting from the battles with trying to save Cashmere, I am brusied
all over. But I got some kind of flu bug. It was so bad. I missed Wed, and today at work.
Again my boss was great. We still have not decided about tomorrow.
Then Wed. night Dances my 25 inch tiny mare showed me she was hurt on front left
leg. She is limping. So I am doctoring her. She is stalled with her daughter. But I think
a bigger mare kick her.
Honey my 25 inch mare, another tiny mare, starting coughing. So she is on med's now.
Its just been a week. I don't know how I would have gotten through this week without
you all. You just don't know how much you meant to me this week to me. It is so heart
breaking to loose Cashmere. She meant the world to me and my mom. The barn is so
empty without her. I know in my heart she is at peace. But its still so hard with out her.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Vicky
I just wanted to add, I am going to print all of your post and put them in her book.
I will be adding a page to my web site next week, telling her life story. So maybe her
story will help others know the risk's of bute. To know, when it is used to make sure
the dosage is so correct. And the effects of over dose. What it caused this incredible mare.
She fought to the end to live too. She fought even after the massive stroke. So I hope her
story will help other horses in the future.
