About 2 miles with Rowan...well, he probably did 3, he had to go in a lot of circles. Note to self: when pony hasn't been out of his paddock for several weeks, a bridle is a very good idea!

My sister visited. I walked Mint and her Kingsley for .75 mile Stoped and talked to a neighbor, so not sure of time.
In afternoon, I walked Jeffrey and she walked Mint for about 10 minutes. A beautiful day

You have all been busy and collected a lot of miles! I always enjoy seeing the posts. My walking has been in short and sweet bursts this year and I haven’t tracked any of it.
Attached is a photo of my walking partners taken this afternoon, Tinker (pinto),
DD, and Madelaine. I did walk Tinker and DD together, then Madelaine solo. The weather has been great.

About 40 minutes with Oatie this week.
I try to take Billy for a walk about 3 times a week. We are paved, gravel, and dirt. Sometimes I put his boots on him and sometimes I think it is good for him to walk on hard surfaces. Last time I drove, and was putting on his boots, I noticed the heel bulb on the back hoof seemed really pink. Sent a little video to a farrier, and she suggested bruising. So, guess I will put his boots on every time we walk now. He does not seem to favor the foot, so hopefully it isn't too bad.

We had a surprise visit from my daughter and 2 gkids age 8 and 10.
First thing they wanted was to walk the minis. I didn't track the times we walked but we sure had fun.

38 minutes walking with Billy--boots on.
10 minutes for Oatie today and 15 minutes yesterday.
About a mile yesterday and 2 miles today with Rowan. We saw PEOPLE today, terrifying.
Mile and half with Billy. He gets a little snorty about 10 minutes into the walk, and then settles down when he figures out there is no turning back yet. Pepper is a little tornado around. She tears up behind and startles him, or whizzes out of the weedy ditch and scares him. Silly boy. Never a dull moment.

With Christmas over, I had a chance to get Mint out for a nice walk. The day was a bit overcast but warm at 55 degrees. We went for over 2 miles.

I got a last walk in on this overcast day, for 2023. It made for a nice walk. My sister is here, so I had her take Kingsley and I took Mint for over a mile walk. Happy New Year to all of you.

I also got one last hike in yesterday, about 1.5 miles. He was so good even though I hadn't taken him out in weeks. Happy New Year, all!
