If you want some free Christmas decorations for next year, now's the time to go get 'em.

Every year most of the stores throw out their big decorations. Betcha you didn't know that. All you have to do is ask and be there when they are taking them down. They would rather give them away than have to throw them out.

You should see the stuff I have stock piled in my loft.

I get a lot from the Dollar Stores, and Target, usually the stuff that is hanging UP from the ceilings and I love to use them in my barn and anywhere else I can fit them.

Last year I got some giant cardboard wreaths from Freds. 15 to be exact. I only used two of them. They are 3 feet by 3 feet. I really planned on sharring them and wanted to send some but when I took them down to the post office, they didn't have any great suggestions on how to package them. They were too thick to roll up and too big to try to just wrap in brown paper and they said they would probably get wrecked in the shipping department.

The year before I had gotten some Bells from Target that were 3 feet by 2 1/2 wide. The year before that, I got some big old trees from Marshalls.

Fun!

Just go ask.
