We have a foal!

So this little guy was born friday night. What do you think I should name him? Also, I thought he was bay, but the coloring on his face seems similar to some of the color on her face...any chance he might be buckskin?

I let him outside for the first time today, and his eyes are a very strange color. Not sure if that means he is a dilute, or if they are going to be partial blue.

Congratulations! Looks bay with lots of foal camo; but sometimes buckskin can be born quite dark.

Yea, the foal camo is kind of cool, I haven't seen that on a baby before. I am pretty sure that the mare is a brown based buckskin, so the colors of her foals have been a little interesting. Last years colt clipped out almost black, then turned a mousy gray, and is now doing whatever the heck this is, with the black spots all over him. Pretty sure that's dapples but it is interesting.
