Honestly...after reading this article in this newspaper today I'm totally speechless. I'm SO upset/P.O.ed by what these awful people did or rather didn't do to this man. So what if he's homeless...he's a human being and he deserves respect and HELP especially when he's on fire. Holy noodles what is wrong with those people. It's my belief that you get what you give whether it's negative or positive and those awful people are sure going to get it back badly. I wonder how the people who did nothing would feel if they were on fire and we said "oh no don't bother with her, she doesn't matter". I'm sure they'd be mighty upset...I'd wish that upon them but that would be too good for them.

On a happy note I am very happy to hear that the nurse was very helpful she made my day. What a wonderful lady three cheers for her.

Here's the link to the very sad story...

OMG! That's beyond words! I comment the nurse for not slapping the crap out of that woman! Thank God the nurse was there and saved that poor man.

Sad sad world!

Robin my thoughts exactly- they'd have needed TWO ambulances if I had seen this!! Mind you, I'd not have called an ambulance for the rich bit*h - one of her friends could have done that!!!

That is awfully sad but really the saddest thing is that lady who ignored him!

Just think how messed up inside she is and how detached that she no longer values a human being????? God help her!

Really it never ceases to amaze me how hardened some people are.

Thank goodness for that wonderful woman who did the right thing!

I always say "But for the grace of God, there go I", anyone can hit hard times and end up down and out.

Very sad!

Based on my own personal experience none of those people were forum members !!!! But its somthing seen all over the place and as hard as it is to say mostly in metropolitian areas where people might be in close proximity to each other but are not close with each other. The I don`t know hom so leave him alone I doubt would ever happen in small towns or rural areas. That nurse deserves the right to know she did what was right.

Good for that nurse!

I would have done the same thing. I was the girl in Denver last week giving away all her lunch money to buy a homeless guy McDonalds. I haven't seen someone so thankful for something so little. Got screamed and and almost given a refferal from the school for it though!

I just hope there is some way that those women will know what it is to be HUMAN some day. Not that I wish them ill; just that they realize what they did/didn't do in the face of such a horrible thing. I wish them the chance to actually have the humanity to feel humility and sorrow for what they did, when faced with the chance to actually help out a fellow man.

They probably pride themselves on being "good people", and attend nothing but the best and biggest Church/place of Worship. They have been tested...and they failed...miserably.
