We lost a member of our family today

On Monday our beloved 11 year old wirehair dachshund Rylee began having seizures. We rushed her to our vet where they did many tests and suspected a brain tumor. Monday night she stayed at the ER vet hospital to be observed and given anti-seizure meds. We brought her home last night. She still had break through seizures throughout the night and became very weak and disoriented. After spending the morning with her we went back to our vet where we decided to let her go. Our hearts are broken and there is an empty spot in our home tonight. Even our other doxies are feeling something is wrong and they are sticking right by our sides. I am sad that Rylee will never get to meet Misty the little mini filly we are getting in October. Feeling empty and sad. Here is a picture of our baby after a trip to the beauty shop at PetsMart.

My heart goes out to you...........We lost a special four legged family member in a similar way earlier this year. Find a way to honor Rylee in some way. It does help a little. What's important is that he knows your love and that love never dies.
