Wednesday Prayer and Meditation......

I am a part of a group of folks on line who stop (or pause) with what they are doing every Wednesday evening at approximately the same time -- 8 pm Eastern and 5 pm Western time.....and either send up a prayer, meditate, light a candle, or whatever the person feels comfortable doing within their faith.

This week, in addition to the prayer for Peace I am holding in White Light and Prayer some people here on Lil Beginnings. One is Liz (Nootka) and her father - that there is no cancer, or if there is - that it is easily taken care of. And another is Joy (Star Minis) and her family with the loss of her 8 beautiful little mares......that they find solace and comfort from us on the Board, their loved ones, and their remaining animal family.

Please join me, if you are so inclined, to spend a moment of time Wednesday evening.

And for what it's worth -- I always throw out to God a thank you in closing -- It's something I am trying to pass on to Brianna.....A Parent loves being needed, but appreciates the thanks too......

Thanks for sharing Maryann. I will do so. I also end with thanks, but I also begin with Thanks. Just want to make sure that it is known that I truly am Thankful.

What happened to Joy's mares??? I feel awful for her! I've been off again for a few days. I'll go searching posts to see what happened.

edited to add: OMG. I just read Joy's posts. I'm sitting here in tears for her. Couldn't get much more awful than that. I will continue to keep their family in my prayers. That family has been through too much this year. I will pray that her husband is doing well also.

That's why I posted. Can you imagine -- if we join the HUNDREDS of Lil Beginnings Members with the (probably dozens) of people on my other chat board IN PRAYER - or just a moment of positive thought -- how POWERFUL that is????

[SIZE=14pt]Count me in MAryann..... I agree God appreciates our grattitude and even is pleased when we ask much of him..... My dad has started some prayers with me including one for a healing when I was a child, "Lord, Thou hast said Thou art pleased when we ask much of Thee.....and so we shall......." We have had a lot of heartache on this board in the last few weeks but also have much to be thankful for including the physical sparing of Debbie durring her burn accident, and Joys children. Lets not be afraid to ask Him for what we need and not be stingy with our thanks and praise.[/SIZE]

Well my life took a turn for the busy and mundane and suddenly I discovered I wasn't doing my regular meditations.......But a couple people recently brought me back to myself........so for the last few evenings before I fall asleep I have been sending white light and healing energy to two people in particular

not positive it is helping them but it has me back on track.....for that I give thanks especially to those who have unknowingly helped me ground.......

A dear friend used to tell me " girl you are so screwed to the ceiling would you please get down"....haven't talked to her in a while but man it is tiring being up there

.......5 pm I am still at work so cannot join the group but will send out my nightly energy around 10:30pm mountain time for those night owls who want to join in

Sounds like you and I should get together on the ceiling somewhere!

Bonnie told me the same thing once......Most people I guess are TOO grounded -- ie, focused on the basic stuff that's infront of them. But when you get openned up -- oh man -- watch out.

I know this is something we should visit about privately. Please PM or e-mail. I'm sure we have lots to visit about.

Oh, and I'm usually outside with the horses at 5 pm, so I just stop and send off my prayers and "zone" for a few minutes in meditation every Wednesday. Sometimes if I get done early, I actually get to light a prayer candle!

Count me in, what a great idea....I have been having anxiety attacks or panic attacks lately & this is the time when I am on the van pool ride home from work, so it just may help me to get my mind off of "me"......
