I am so very sorry. I can see how special he is to you and what a neat bond the two of you had, looking at these pictures.

I am so sorry for your loss but you made the right decision for your horse, he is at peace and forever he will be in your heart.

Some Horses:

Some horses come into our lives and quickly go

Others stay a while,

Make hoof prints on our hearts,

And we are never, ever the same

Hugs to you and your family. It sure is a hard thing to do. I ended up saying goodbye to my best friend last Saturday at 1:30 PM. I do know that we made a tough decision but it was also the right decision.

I know that pain of such loss. It stays a long time and this is good because it honors their life..but in time it softens and we remember them with smiles and laughs and know on the other side they wait beautiful and well.

I'm sorry for your loss. Please know you have given him the greatest gift of love. You loved him enough to let him go. Hard as it is now, he will be waiting just across the bridge to greet you.

Blessed be..........Blessed be........ I feel for you.........

I'm sorry you had to say good by to your friend. Darn it why is it that doing the right thing doesn't make it any easier!

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I hate it when we're forced to make the "decision". My old Joe is 35 years old and I know the day is coming soon when I'll have to make the "decision" too. {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}

I feel so sorry for your loss, this evening while I am out feeding I will keep you in my thoughts knowing what sadness you are going thru. Even tho we know we have done right, it is very hard.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful horse.

Thanks guys, It's Hard, But i think About Jason and Tatty (my grandfather's old horse) running in lush green feilds, and it brings tears of joy to my eyes, knowing that there is somone ther for him. It's hard, because i need to go out and feed and Worm, and he's not there. It was hard cleaning to tack room and picking up stuff, Touching it, knowing that it was Jasons, But i did get a pice of his tail, and it smell's like him (lol, i had to laugh at that) But it's going to be hard when i get a new horse, i am going to either get new tack, or suck it up and let jason share his tack (i'll end up geting new Tack...lol)

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. Words never quite say enough...treasure the memories and know he is happy and free running through wonderful pastures.

"Somewhere...somewhere in time's own space

There must be some sweet pastured place

Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow

Some Paradise where horses go.

For by the love that guides my pen

I know great horses live again."

I am very sorry for your loss. Know how you feel, just had to let go a family pet not too long ago. <HUGS>

I'm so sorry. I've been in your shoes a time or two, and have an old gal here now whose day is coming I'm afraid. She's 30, and I will miss her terribly. Your boy was loved, it shows in his face.
