The Great State of Texas, due to the overwhelming amount of angry mail received from mostly mini owners, has rescinded its "cease and desist" order against Carl Mitz. He is free to do equine dentistry in Texas.

HEY AL B....You just MADE my day sir!!! :aktion033:

I have been worried sick, as to what in the world I was going to do about my Biscuit's (dwarf minis) dental work!!! There is not ONE vet that I would trust to do my babies!!!

WooHoo! way to go Carl!!!! I will be calling to make an appointment for my Biscuits tomorrow!!!!!

OK, I just spoke with Carl and my information was slightly inaccurate.

The State of Texas has told him they are going to rescind the order but as of this morning have not done so yet. He is expecting this to happen soon. In addition, there will be some legislation coming in the near future to fix this problem. So, the point is, do not declare victory yet. Continue to hammer your representatives with your desires.

If you want to keep Carl or whomever your equine dentist is in Texas write or email the State Veterinary Board and your representative. Encourage them to get this done.
