Of course all 5 of my foals will be waiting for with anticipation (and sleepless nights!) but 2 more than the rest...i'm excited about.

Flye-ShowNice2June06.jpg

Wedgwood Halo, 32" Cream Dun Stallion X Tothill Creme De Menthe, 31" Cremello mare, due early May.

We have 3 foals due by Halo who we sadly lost, so these are his only foals for us. We are really praying for a nice colt from our cremello mare as we know we won't be disappointed and would like one of Halo's son's to follow on his hoofprints.

And..

This year they produce this..

After having got 2nd in her foal class and going reserve champion foal, champion in another ring and 3rd in a large open coloured class..againest all the adults!

Yep we are hoping for the same as the above from Badger & Piper!! (and i have my plated armour ready for when i want to see the foal...as i sure needed it this year with Piper!!!)

We have 4 foals due in 2007, 3 by our own stallion and one mare we bought in foal. We are anxiusly awaiting the arrival of Coyote Winds Knockout + Sharptails Peanut Butters foal.

Here is Coyote Winds Knockout. Sorry he is in his winter hair, was to cold to body clip, Was February.

Hopefully the picture worked and is not to big.

This year is tough, I'm looking forward to all of the foals for different reasons!

1st mare due had a gorgeous pintaloosa colt for me last time, hoping for a filly this time!

2nd mare due is an outside mare, but a blanket app in foal by my leopard app, so should be neat! And it will be a pure Falabella too...

3rd & 4th mares are in foal by my snowcap stallion for his first foals, so of course I'm anxious to see what he will produce.

Here is a link to my webpage with photos of everyone:

2007 Foals

Since this is Heir's first foal crop I am excited about all my foals! I have one mare Sweetie that has never produced a live foal. She's hard to get bred and for the prior owners she had one that was dead in the sack and the only preg for me aborted at 9 mo. She appears to be pregnant and is my first mare due.....so I'm praying hard this one makes it.

Here's Celebrations Sweet Tennessee(a daughter of National Champion Prince Tennessee of Monashee). First pic is just in pasture, second is a poor scan from when she was showing.

And my Stallion Aloha Acres Heir to Magic. He's also in my avatar. This is from our October Pinto show. I can never get good pics of him.......can't wait for my new Liz pics!

we are anxious to see our two foals for next year! My tovero mare Lauralees Troubles Chasyn Rainbows is bred to Charlottes Star Skipper! I am hoping for a filly to breed in the future to my Cowboy son Reflections Random Doodles CBY! But as long as it is a healthy foal I don't care. My other mare Daphne is bred to Beckys stallion RedRock Incognito! We are equally excited about that! Sheila :aktion033: :aktion033:

Well we have a number of babies coming and it is hard to anticipate which one I can't wait for as there are several. But Sassy and Luxor should be awesome from the standpoint of blending two awesome lines.

Cherryville Rio's Eminent Reflection ( Sassy) is a "Rio" bred mare that has produced for us in the past and had a wonderful show record herself.

Silver Plates Baccara Luxor is a son of Baccara and out of a Double Destiny daughter and has produced well for us also. His first baby last year won the big show in Germany.

Hopefully they produce a colt, as we want to use this cross to go back to some of the "General Patton" line mares that we will be breeding in the next few years.

We are expecting our very first foal this coming year :new_shocked: , and if that isn't enough to be excited about, it would have to be the cross that we are excited about too, two of the finest lines!

:

Little Maiden, a Vegas Mare (out of Jean B's Stallion, Vegas), we bought Maiden from Mary (Buckskin Gal), and she is just as sweet and smart as they come, we just adore her!

And Apache, (LM Hawks Apache Blue) Mary and Les's Champion Farms Nighthawk son, who is also very sweet and very smart and VERY Beautiful;

We are just thrilled about this little one, we are reading everything we can get our hands on, and have already bought a barn cam (need to get it hooked up though) and several tiny, new baby blankets! I even bought a beautiful matching Momma/Baby blanket set from SmoothEZ for them! We already have the birthing stall all set up, and the Vet on call! LOL!! Mike thinks I am nuts, but we are having a Blast!!!

Well it is hard to decide which is the most anticipated as they are all new breedings for me. I have 3 appy babies on the way from breedings with my snowcap stallion Little Americas Tex Lil Feather but I also have a breeding with my own Zachary Farms Sweet Legacy that was the last foal born before my husband died that is a lab tested Palomino maximum expression Sabino who is also homozygous for Tobiano :bgrin He is three years old I bred him one time to Timber Ridge Rowdy Eclipses Hearthrob who is a bay LWO postive tovero.

I am hoping for a buckskin tovero..

Hearthrob

Legacy's Dam Zachary Farms Sweet Mountain Daisy who is bred to Tex for a probable Pintaloosa but since she is not homozygous for Tobiano might just be appy..She is a Yellow Diamond Little Feather great granddaughter.

My most anticipated isn't a mini but a classic shetland. We're expecting a foal out of my classic mare, Country Star Rosie Flores - Pinto Hunter Pony World Champion - undefeated. She has been bred to a HOF producing stallion that is the sire of our Foundation Classic mare, Heaven's Gate Special Design. We really think this will be an excellent cross. Here's a photo of Rosie and Design (I don't have a photo of Lobo).

Sorry for the huge pics!

I would have to say Mazipans foal. This will be her second foal her foal from this year went 3rd in open weanling mares 26-30 at the World show. Already she is a World top ten producer. She was went top ten numerous times herself at Nationals. I dont own the sire so wont post the picture of him but the sire is the World Jr Grand Champion Vermilyea Farms Olympus.

I'm looking forward to them all - 2007 will be Appy's first "full foal crop" so to speak... he wasn't bred much before we got him, and then he was too busy showing to get bred here! He did manage one mare last year and gave us the fabulous colt "Appy go Lucky" - but now in 2007 we are expecting 6 Appy foals - 5 minis and a Show Pony (out of our ASPC modern Shetland mare, who's half hackney!)

The variety of mares we've bred Appy to will help us decide what direction we'll be taking in future breeding decisions, so that's why this is an exciting *group* rather than any particular individual foal!

Here's Daddy... Woodstock Norths Who's Appy Now!

db_jjappy5a1.jpg

The mares are here on this page: Mares Page

The mares in foal are Alice, Ginny, Violet, Star and Dewbee - plus Thyen's Elegant, our ASPC mare.

I'm excited about all foals due, we have three mares now that are new, so will be interesting to see what they give us as we have no idea what to expect. Sweet Tart and Daisy are both in foal to a solid black and our new gal Tango is in foal to a red roan. Star is back in foal to our buckskin for the third time for us, and after a solid buckskin filly and a buckskin pinto colt, I'm thinking the third times a charm and hopefully will get a buckskin pinto filly!

BUT, I gotta say the most anticipated foal will be Lacey's as it will be Sky's first foal for us! Lacey is a daughter of Bozeman's Frosty Feather making her a grand-daughter of Yellow Diamond Little Feather.. Sky is a son of C-Chief Proud Eagle.. I'm hoping for a loud colored pintaloosa filly! (look alike of daddy would be exciting!) but will take what ever we get as long as they're healthy.. Now NEXT year's foaling season (2008) will be even more exciting since ALL of the girls will be bred back to Sky! :aktion033: :aktion033:

Here's Lacey:

My first foals will not actually be "started" until next spring.

Next Spring, will be breeding my coming 2yo stallion, Erica's Gone and DunIT (AMHR National Top 10 Halter / AMHA Honor Roll Halter) to Khaki, Lou and Hope.

Then at Erica's, I think our stallion, Erica's Echos of My Destiny will breed Suprize, the little buckskin pinto mare I'm getting from her, and then Double, the perlino pinto mare from her, will be bred to her amazing boy, Little Kings Big City Bucks.

Sooooooooo, foaling season at Whinny For Me Farm is about 18mos away but I'm very excited about all the possibilities!!!

I actually have 2 foals I'm really excited about... First one is out of "Freelands Fiesta Imperial Storm"

a 28" homozygous stallion and "Lakeviews Dandy Candy Kiss" a 31" homozygous mare.

The second foal is out of "Toyland Tino Trix" Black Leopard Stallion and "Toyland Peekaboo" Black Leopard mare.

Diane,

I have to admit I can't wait to see what foals you have in the next 5 years...with the new additions you made recently, i'm crossing my fingers for you!!!! You have a gorgeous appy program put together with a bit of pinto too =)

Thank You Steffanie
default_smile.png
I actually have 4 junior appy mares that will be ready to breed in 2007 and 2008 so I'm really excited. I love lots of color and have looked very hard for color and conformation in my mares and stallions and hope they pass that on to their future foals .......

I CAN'T WAIT to see the foal of this pair!

This is Calita Falabella and Toyland Macho Chips. Both are pure Falabella. Chips is owned by Crayonbox Miniature Horses.

Tammie

My most anticipated foal is the cross between these two....and I'm still not sure if she is pregnant!
