I love all those old shows, my all time favorite is MASH. A few years ago when my back was really bad all I did was watch TV Land and Deja View for three months ... we'd just got the dish, which was excellent! I still watch quite a bit ... I've currently discovered Welcome Back Kotter!

:new_shocked: Rin-tin-tin, Fury, Flika, Yukon King, Lassie, Gene Aurtry, and Thunderhead son of Flika.

Dukes of Hazzard. My son is watching the season3 DVD's right now.

GunSmoke and Rin Tin Tin and Wanted Dead or Alive and Bonanza and the first Outer Limits shows scarey back then just the music gave me the creeps.

Every Sunday night for years we had to watch the Ed Sullevan Show you know the tonight we have a really big shoe guy thats were l first saw and heard Elvis all in black and white back then. Oh and my fave also was Red Skelaton can't remember the spelling but he was pretty funny l think can't remember today either..

Great thread......brings back my childhood! I loved so many that were already listed and of course anything horse/animal related. Some I remember that weren't already mentioned.

Gentle Ben

Grizzly Adams

Big Valley

Flipper!

Gosh, I'd forgotten how good our old TV was.....I'll have to start looking at TV land myself!

I LOVE older shows!! They seem sooo much better than what's on nowdays IMO.

Brady Bunch

Mr. Ed

Bewitched

Gunsmoke

The Partridge Family

And pretty much everthing else!! LOL.

Wow, this is bringing back memories.

Kinda surprised nobody has mentioned All In The Family...Archie, Edith, Gloria and Meathead. That was a show ahead of it's time.

Also that cop show that Carol O'Connor was on years later - name escapes me right now....but I used to love to watch re-runs of it.

Loved Red Skelton; and Tim Conway and Harvey Korman on the Carol Burnett show. Used to love it when they would break up laughing on the screen. It looked like they had sooo much fun.

The Twilight Zone (Rod Serling)

First time I saw Elvis was on the Ed Sullivan show too. That was a good variety show.

Anybody remember the Bonanza episode when Hoss and Little Joe were looking for leprechauns? Lil Joe saying "Where arrrre you? .......and Hoss answering "I'm ovvverrr heerreee" in a mousy little voice.

"In the Heat Of The Night" And just this last weekend TV Land had a 35th year aniversary...All In The Family ALL Weekend Long~!!! I never even shut the TV off at night just fell asleep to ALL In The Family and woke up to All In The Family :bgrin

Well, my favorites are normally much older than I am and normaly somewhat on the funny side of life. I love to watch Mr Ed, Big Valley, Green Acres, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Petticoat Junction, Bewitched, Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeannie, Welcome Back Kotter, WKRP in Cincinnati. I have all the episodes of the original Twilight Zone with Rod Serling. And I am a HUGE original Star Trek fan. Don't like the others much though.

But, my alltime favorite show is one that came out WAY WAY long ago before I was born. This show often had the comercials built right into the show for products like Carnation Evaporated Milk. And sometimes you could watch the main characters walk across the set to the next house! Who could ever forget the comedy from one of our greatest comedians ever? Yep, my favorite of all time is the "Burns and Allen Show" that first aired in October of 1950 which was almost 2 decades before I was born. Now if they would only release all the seasons on DVD!

This is kind of a little off track but how many of you used to watch Wolfman Jack on the Midnight Special?

Let the Midnight Special shine it's light on you!

How could I have forgotten?! I also liked The Carol Burnett show, Welcome back Kotter, Bonanza and All In the Family....I watched it on TV Land this weekend too...LOL :bgrin

I would wait on Saturday mornings for "FURY" then "MY FRIEND FLICKA"

Later in life I adored Dark Shadows and the MONKEEES!

Ok, I REALLY had to laugh at this, I didn't even tell hubby about this thread but he sent me this picture in an e mail yesterday!!!

Can you tell what one of his favorite shows was? It's gotten to be a running joke around here that I won't let him have a Sanford and Son truck for a farm truck for he, Cleotis and Cooter to ride around in.

I know, hubbies a bit umm, unique! LOL
