My husband travels extensively and trying to get "manly" things done is frustrating at best. I've waited for quite some time to get some tasks accomplished, so as not to wound a manly ego. Well, with the advice of friends and instructions on how to use power tools, I've been making some final pasture winterization modifications. This stuff might not be the most professional, but they'll work!
Here are the buckets I attached to the fence so the minis can enjoy their beet pulp/grain....and makes my job easier/safer! LOL! Even Patsy the llama has her place on the grain line!
As for the "big" horse pasture, I modified a hay feeder my husband made. It was 8-ft x 8-ft square and the there was a lot of waste because the hay landed in the middle where they couldn't reach. Soooo, I divided the feeder into four sections and lowered the exterior frame so they could reach the center. I'll work on aesthetics tomorrow!
Next........revise the chicken coup!
