Wow, what a fun thread....some of the following people have met me but just don't know it..haha. I am pretty shy unless you get to know me.....so here goes:

The Crabby Chickens (what a great family!)

Liz (Nootka & boys...again, great family to know!)

Suzanne (lovely lady)...oh, so on this one I did brave up myself & talk to Suzanne, she ended up sitting next my Mom & Me at a show in Oregon last year...haha....(I knew I recognized Mingus while watching a couple of classes & Lo & behold I was right)....

Tracy, Flyin G Farms....

Come to think of it, I think I have had stalls by most of the above at shows I have attended....

Annette

Rob (helped at the measuring table at some shows)

Lori G

Boy, ya know when you come down to it, the people I have met that are part of this forum are the Nicest People!!

I would still love to meet Leia and ClickMini, CountryRose and I am sure tons of others that frequent or even lurk on the forum!! I guess I had better get a LB Pin so people can identify me..haha.

Sorry if I missed anyone, it sure wasn't intentional!!

I forgot to add ..

I chatted with Marty on the phone for christmas ...that was a very unexpected gift! She's a goof and i love her!

I had a chance to meet Ginny StP (Virginia). When she came to pick up Angel, i had State FFA horse judging contest and i already had $75 in that and our bus left at 7am and we didnt get back untill around 4:30pm so i didnt get the chance to meet her. I really wish i had just backed out of horse judging that day and stayed home and met her, i heard she was a very nice person.

Thats it for now, those were my 'almost' meets.

Awwww Nancy!!!! ((Huggsszz)) to you and Michael!!! Yep we certainly got to meet Nancy (Equuisize) and hubby Michael after a few weeks finagling and tweeking days here and there...we finally came up with a plan and it was the best thing we ever did!!! :aktion033: First few minutes was as if we had known each other forever...even tho we have only chatted thru e-mail for a few years. I am so grateful for the forum Christmas Exchange for putting us together and letting our friendship blossum and grow as it has...I immediatly felt as if I was hanging out with one of my sisters. And our hubbys took to each other as well which was icing on the cake...you can't go wrong with cars and motorcycles!! :aktion033:

Nancy and I got a chance to spend some time together with the horses and drove Hershee together in cart...what a blast that was chatting all the while. I just wish more forum members can have the experience we had....even tho we're miles all the way across the country this is one friendship I will always cherish! With Nancy, her warmness just as it is here on the forum shines through in person.....she's genuine, warm and open.....and she really really listens to what you have to say......now in today's fast paced world, where people come and go that's hard to find!!! We hope to one day be able to meet up again...thats for sure!!!

In person, I've met Becky (RNR), Julie (R3), Jamie briefly (JMS), Dana Bryan (Dreamweaver), and we passed by Laura on the road, LOL. On the phone, I've spoken with some very dear friends, Tanya (SWA), and Beth (Rebelshope).

I don't think I've forgotten anyone, I hope not.

I've "met" a few and I know who a few more are.

Believe it or not, I'm kinda' bashful about meeting new people. I am terrible with remembering names and faces and that keeps me from going up and talking to people unless I have bid'ness to discuss.

Now, once I get to know ya' I'll act like a complete idiot for your entertainment, but until I feel comfortable, I don't talk much.

I can usually remember horses better because I'm allowed to just sit there and stare at them while I have a show program that I can read their names off of. Sadly, people don't usually respond too well when you do that to them.

I'd really like to get to know more of y'all. Just don't wait for me to make the first move. (Yes, I had a terrible time with girls when I was younger. I couldn't even tell the woman I am married to now that I had a crush on her until we had worked together for 2 years...even then, it took significant "liquid courage".) Sorry, I'm shy.

Oh, another thing is that people don't usually come up and talk to me because I look "mad" or "mean". I suspect what they really mean is: "You are big and ugly and I came to the Miniature Horse show to see things that are small and cute."
