Wow, Vickie. After your mare foals, would you like to come down here and do all of that while watching mine?? LOL

I thought for sure tonight but here it is almost morning and nothing!

What is she waiting on? Me to have on my Easter dress?

I hadn't thought of that!

I wonder if that is what Paradigm is doing? We, my family, wanted to get together for Easter, but since Paradigm hasn't foaled yet it looks like we will have Easter dinner here. Which, of course, made me clean house yesterday! Then some cooking today.

I thought Paradigm would foal before Star Bright, Peggy's mare, but she fooled me and is still hanging on. Surely she will let me eat dinner in peace on Sunday? Maybe she'll give me an Easter bunny.

So now that we have Star Bright's filly here I just have Paradigm any day now and then her full sister Buttons in late May. I'm sure looking forward to a bit of SLEEP!

It's comforting to think.....in the middle of the night, that I'm not the only one awake and watching a monitor!

Haha. The bathroom is the only clean room. Rest of house is a disaster. Made no brownies and got no foal. It is pretty here today so I am going to work in the flower beds and shoot the bb gun at the sparrows that are trying to homestead the martin house.

Well no foals yet.... Its a darn good thing that I have some Cherry Garcia to keep me awake. Ha!

Now I know why I gain weight during foaling season.

Looks like I have a lot of good company awaiting foals this year!

Here is our current line up as of Easter Sunday.

Cloud 9 - 340 and no udder development!

China - 338 days. Has Halter alarm. She has had thick colostrum since St Patricks Day and several (she is going to do it today's). But no foal yet.

Blossom 338 days. No udder development.

Celeste 332 days. Small udders.

Lady 327 days. Medium udders and halter alarm on.

Abyss turned 300 days yesterday and I have three more that will be 300 days this month!

On paper they were spread out! I just never thought they would ALL hold on to them this long!
