I do!!! I just put mine up yesterday night after my son went to bed! I stayed up untill 12:30 decorating the inside of my house. It looks so festive! Next is the outside! Lighted deer and roping. Woo Hoo!!! What fun!

Also I must admit I have been listening to Christmas music sence the week after Holloween!

I know I know.... but I just can't help it!!

I love Christmas!!

Wooohoooo!!!!!!! My "trees" have been up since early November, I love all the Xmas decorations so we want to enjoy them for a few weeks!! Whole house is decorated inside and out!!

I am also listening to Christmas music, hee hee

I put my tree up last night after i go the kids to bed. it just has the lights on it so far I let the kids put the ornaments and icicles on it. I have had my outside blow up santa and light up candy canes up for several weeks now

My tree will go up this weekend.

I plan on leaving my house by 3am on Friday to hit the stores, then I will wrap everything and start getting the decorations out for Saturday.

I gotta love you with that Christmas Spirit! Please can you post pictures? Please???? You said "reindeer" PLEASE I gotta take a look.I've got a huge reindeer fetish, just ask Ashley.

I have to get through Thanksgiving first. Mother crammed that all into our heads since we were little kids: "Never rush through Thanksgiving" so we don't.

I will say that I do have my outside pretty much done. It took two full weeks and we still have some odds and ends to do. I ran out of re bar for my candy canes so I need to get a couple more pieces and then do my "garnishes" with wreaths in windows but I can't find where I put the suction cups. I have to add hay to the Nativity and also the reindeer paddock. I also need to find a really big wreath for my barn. We have countless number of lights and they won't be hooked up and turned on until December 1st. That's the rule.

There is nothing done on the inside. I have my Thanksgiving decorations up in here. Just got finished making a centerpiece for Thanksgiving Day. I'll change them out after Thursday so mother in heaven won't be having a fit with me, thinking I forgot the rules.

The stockings are hung in the barn, need a couple new ones though and lights are up on the roof thanks to Dan. They have a Santa there too in the entranceway but I keep forgetting to anchor him down and he keeps falling over. Must fix that. My gates are pretty much done and mailbox, and just need a couple more little items by the wagon wheels in the back entrance. Did a few things in the back yard, in case someone comes around the back entrance, they'll still be greeted festively, but not much though.

I get a real tree so we'll probably get it next weekend, not now to be sure it doesn't croak prematurely. Love the scent.

I have to get my cards done, shop, wrap, ship and all that stuff. I'd love it all to be done before December 1st this year so I can just RELAX and not be running around like a chicken that lost her head for once.

I want to be able to enjoy my decorations this year early. DH and I are going

to Alaska to spend Christmas with middle son and his family. We leave the

15th and get back Jan 3rd. This desert rat is gonna freeze!!!!!

Marty check out Micheals for really big wreaths.. they are just plain pine ones that way you get the fun of decorating them anyway you want.. As soon as i get my tree finished and some presents under it I will take some pics. did i mention that my parents have like a bunch of reindeer???? ones that are jumping, ones that are grazing, ones that are just standing. O and they have one of those big blow up santas that has rudolph standing beside him.. and they are debating about getting the blow up santa, sled and reindeer.

My mom and my aunt have a competition every year to see who can put up more lights than the other one.. because they live kind beside one another... last year we cleaned out the dollar store and big lots of the small lights we had every tree and bush covered in lights. we lost count at over 6000 lights both big and small thats not counting the reindeer, santas, snowmen, angels, christmas trees etc. that she puts up... and she outlines the roof every window, the porch railings, the deck railings and this year the pool surrounding the fence will be done. We outline the driveway with candy canes and string lights between them too.. .. it usually takes us till a few days before christmas to get them all put up. My poor dad just shakes his head anymore when she comes home with something else to add to her collection...

My tree and new village were all set up a week ago, just the outside to do, hopefully that will get done this weekend if I don't spend to much time at the Mini O Rama. lol

Ours won't go up until the weekend of Thanks Giving or the first week in December. I have to take one holiday at a time!!!

(But I have sneaked in a few Christmas Cd's!!!

RENMACMINIS: If your mom and your aunt live close enough , have them hook their lights up together. When we lived next door to mother, that's what we did. We just hooked up all the lights and ran them the length of two houses and did all the decorations as if it were one home. Wow, what a display we had. We then got everyone else on the block to set out lights on the sidewalks and there were more and more participating each year.

I collect Dept 56 Snow village pieces. I have about 75 pieces right now and still going! But I can't put up to many this year because my son is 2 and just the right height to make trouble! I had some of my houses on my entertainment center in September. Did I just admit that!

I LOVE this thread. I get into the christmas mood usually right before halloween, so I start decorating the house the week of halloween, and all my trees go up the very first few days of November. I have a 7' tree in my living roon, a 4' tree in the dining room; a "pencil" tree in the kitchen, another pencil tree on the landing coming up from our family room, a 7' tree in the family room, a 2' tree in our master bath, and this week will put up the large real tree on our back deck. I have christmas music going all the time, and the whole house is scented with berries and cinnamon. I have part of my village houses up (I have about 100 houses!!) and I also have my SANTA village up, the living room has my christmas breyer horses. I was hoping to get the outside done this past weekend but ended up shopping to long, so I still have some of that to go. I could have the christmas theme year around and be HAPPY! My main theme color is red/green, or blue/red. I LOVE IT!!!! Corinne

Glacia was born Dec 6th so every year the tree goes up around Dec 1st. This year I'm so excited!

I just new to the villages but I have always loved them. I have the

Victoria Falls Porcelain Lighted Village- Collector Series 1

They are sold at Walgreens.

I like them because they are the only village houses that I've seen that when you turn them on you can actually look through the glass windows and they have a scene with the people inside.
