From what I remember they went pretty reasonably last year. They have a colt in there I would love to have so I better not go LOL
The last Octoberfest was in 2006. Hopefully Leeana will come online soon, she is pretty good about finding auction prices.

I'm hoping to get a little buckaroo in my barn. See everyone there.

mmmorgans, you stayed close to me on Wed. night!!! We are 10 miles east of Madison WI. That is where we are heading to Madison IN from.

I looked but could not find anything, i did ask though and the averages were for colts $500...fillys $1500 and bred mares $3000, that was the horses that sold threw the auction. Not sure of the private sale or silent horses..

Does anyone know how they are selling the Private Treaty Horses is there a deadline when will you know if they accepted your offer? Also when will the silent auction end?

The private treaty horses will have prices on their stalls, so if you want to buy one you can do it right then. I bought 2 bred mares at the last one for 1300.00 a piece. The silent auction I think is towards the end of the sale. Last time it was confusing for people and they auctioned them off.

Talked with Hubby today and we may get to go.. I hope so.It has been many years since I have been to Little Kings... It would be great to meet alot of you there since we talk on here ...

Whitney, I am not 100% sure.....lol Last time they had a lot of equipment that sold and as I understand it this time they don't. But even so we stayed until near the end and drove back 8 hours home the same day. I would say we left down there at 4 and they might have had a few more horses to sell. It seemed to go pretty quick. At the last sale, the crowd went stall to stall and they auctioned them off in the stall. They didn't bring them in on a stage at all. It was a great sale. And I am so excited to be going to this one.

Alicia, it would be fun to see you again, only I don't remember for sure what you look like....lol. Our meeting was so brief....lol.
