There are so many, but for horses that are no longer with us, I just think Gold Melody Boy was gorgeous.

For horses that are around now, I would take Robin (REO's) Lotto in a heartbeat!!

Well there are many I love but my favorite mini (one I dont own) would have to be Champion Farms Nighthawk I am president of his fan club!

Of course goes without saying I am a HUGE fan of his offspring as well

here is my new obsession -This is Serafina Bay and she is honestly for me one of the NICEST babies I have ever seen she takes my breath away every time I see her picture. So elegant and so much presence she was born with- She will be a household name before long and Yes I am the president of her fan club as well

Hello,

Does who don't own the horses you are talking about maybe you can post their website, so we can see them? If those owners of those nice minis(PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT ) would post them it WOULD BE GREAT.

Thanks MELISSA

She really is an elegant little thing! Do you know who her dam is? Nighthawk has done some really nice siring. I would like to see what he and some Buckeroo daughters or granddaughters would produce. Buckeroo has really been a favorite of mine because he has produced some wonderful miniatures. Mary

Little Wee Lord of the Ring is my favorite miniature horse that I own because I purchased him at first sight on Karen's website in 2003 and Lordy was just 4 months old and will be a four year old stallion this spring, which I have trained him and shown him by myself without any help of him being at a trainers facility, which I am very proud of his show career and looking forward in the 2007 season as well with his 2007 foals.

There are some gorgeous horses, not only "out there" but also virtually unsung, on here.

I have many favourites but I would be lying if I did not say that my all time favourite has to be my own Rabbit.

He is a cornerstone of the British Miniature Horse, the foundation of my breeding programme- I was looking at his grand-daughter who is also his great grand-daughter just this afternoon and actually getting excited over showing her next year (at my age, honestly!!)

Here he is at 25, winning overall Champion (Please remember Red is first!!)

And winning again this summer at 27 years old- and Yes there was LOADS of competition- 39 horses in the class in all, BUT I have to admit to you this time he was in a Veteran class, not an Open one.

The Judge just adored him, he was busy chatting up a 15.3hh gelding and threatening a Welsh Cob stallion!!

Never was particularly clever that way!!

I am right there with ya Lisa on Nighthawk! I own several horses from Janet, she has to be the NICEST person I have ever dealt with in purchasing horses.

Serafina is a full sister to Sahara, Cabernet, Huckleberrii Bey (I have a Huckleberrii son), Billy The Kid etc. I think she is going to be the NICEST from that cross. :aktion033:

Here ya go Beccy! Thank you for saying that about my boy.

You'd be safer with Lotto! Topper would be trying to drive and getting into the snacks all the way to Canada!

We own my favorite, my gelding, LBFs Commodity Blues. He has such an awsome personality, can be a sweet quiet trail horse, or a fire breathing open single pleasure horse. He has done so much winning for us, and is such a gorgeous boy. He is that once in a lifetime horse.

I'll jump on the Champion Hills Nighthawk band wagon also. BOY he is beautiful and I was more impressed with him in person and running around out in the pasture. WHAT A BEAUTY!! We would like to thank Janet and Mike for allowing us to cross two of my favorite mares- Stormy (BTU daughter) and Ginger (Echo daughter) with Nighthawk this year. They are getting fat and sassy and I'm crossing my fingers for the first buckskin Nighthawk offspring. Unless I have two colts, they will both be keepers. Praying for fillies. Janet is a sweetheart and I'm glad I meet her. :bgrin

And then there is Prince. WOW. But he is awesome and I can't say enough about him. Moutain Meadows are some lucky people to own such a INCREDIBLE boy. He made my jaw drop when I saw him.

BUT my favorite horse is of course Buckeroo. You only have to view our website once to know that. We love Buckeroo and what he produces and have been fortunate to own our Buckeroo son- LK Zephyr Buckeroo and BTU son ZW Sailor Too. Both are great examples of beautiful horses from outstanding Buckeroo bloodlines. Buckeroo shows his stuff generation after generation. You can't ask for more than that from one horse. :aktion033:

So many nice horses, so little time

Scott Creek Fancy Pants is my all time favorite, owned by Scott Creek Farm. I have known Fancy since he was a yearling and had the ultimate pleasure of working with him since he was 2 years old - now coming 16. He is the ultimate show horse winning the AMHA National Grand Champion Single Pleasure Driving Horse in 1996, High Point Driving Horse, National Champion Halter Horse, Hi Point Amateur Horse, Hi Point Youth Horse and 2 time Best All Around Horse at AMHA Nationals (now World).

But, it is the Fancy at home that I really love - he's a spoiled brat and knows he is, and always will be, #1 in the barn. It is free, out in the field at home that his personality absolutely shines!

I must say my most favorite horse right now is Boones Little Buckeroo and Orion Light Vant Huttenest. they both have sired amazing miniatures and they both have made history.

I would have to say that my all time favorite horse that has died would be my Smokie, he will forever remain in my heart! He was my very first miniature horse and will ALWAYS be my overall favorite. I got him when he was two weeks old from Spirit Thunder Miniature Horses for a surprise 14th birthday present. I had him for a total of ten months. When he was just about a month old he got really sick and I almost lost him, but I will have to say that during that time we built up an unbreakable bond. I would stay out late with him until my mother called me in then I would get up really early the next morning and spend the entire day with him while he was sick. I would hold him in my arms and we would literally sleep together, side by side. My mom came out one time cause I had fallen alseep with him she said it was one of the sweetest things she has ever seen. He soon recovered and at three months of age I started bringing him into the house, he would follow me around everywhere I went (without a halter or lead) and he would watch Black Beauty with me and everything, we had some good times, he was the only one who would watch Black Beauty with me and would never get bored of it, you would have to see it to really know how precious it was! Well at four months old I took him to an elementary school and into all the classes with all ages of kids, they loved him and he seemed to really enjoy himself! As did I! Well after that my mom and I decided to take him to nursing homes and little kid's birthday parties and we visited all the nursing homes in town, he was such a good boy and loved every minute of it, you could see it in his eyes! Unfortunately, his life was cut short, two days before Christmas (2005) at ten months old he died with his little head in my arms. I never go a day without thinking about him. My mom knew that day that he was going to die (and I knew it in my heart also) and tried to get me away from him because she didn't want me to see him die, but I promised him that I wouldn't leave him, I wanted to be there with him until he was gone, I couldn't leave him, and I didn't, I was there with him until the end, down to his last breath, I held him. And just before he died I looked into his precious, dim, foggy eyes and told him that I loved him and would never forget him. I still have a handful of his precious black mane that I cut just before he died. I still can't believe he's gone. And I will never forget him. I will never be able to replace him, he was definately a one of a kind.....my lil' Smokie. If you would like to see more pictures of him and hear some more about his story you can e-mail me or visit my website www.thebradleyranch.com. Sorry this is so long, I'm just fulfilling my promise to him, he will never be forgotten.

In loving memory of my dear Smokie, I'll never forget you!~
