Who Will I meet Sunday?

I am fairly certain I will be there, with all my kids and happy hubby. I would love to take a smily group picture

Maybe with 71 horses for sale, I can find something to add to my pasture!

They aren't listed on the site. You have to request a sale bill through Russ or Don. There are about 50 babies of all sizes, gender and colors and then mostly mares with foals or bred mares and a few geldings. Good stuff!

I'd love to go and I know eventually I want to own a DM driving horse - it may be the only way I will ever beat Don or Russ in driving. Unfortunately because we are getting ready for Nationals and school starting and needing to leave for Nationals on Tuesday we just won't be able to take a trip to NE and back.

They have some terrific horses and for those of you that don't know, they were selected 2005 Breeder of the Year and have won many national championships in driving. If you are looking for good performance horse prospect this sale is the place to go.

If the other post about Russ' new driving horse wasn't locked now I'd be adding my two cents worth regarding his driving and training experience, ability and successes. I didn't like it in high school when the "new kids" were picked on or put down or made to feel unwelcome and I didn't like seeing it here on the forum.

We will be there also. We were not planning on taking a trailer, now my better half comes in the room and says , maybe we better take the trailer. We really don't need another horse! We own the sire of the mini Russ is starting in harness and since he has his Hall of Fame in Country Pleasure we even wondered about a team using the one Russ is starting now in harness to go with ours. Just gotta train them to jump first...guessing a sale barn has a nice chute for me to utilize.

Gas has been dropping fast here.....like 2.45 to 2.55. Have a safe trip and see ya at the sale! AND don't worry if the mini's can't make the jump, they have chutes...... I have been informed there are really 3 Russ' that will be at the sale. Triplets :risa_suelos: we are all strong lads so we can lift those purchases right in the truck.

LOL...Lift them in, yeah, I bet they will allow that! I lift my two foals into the van, that is a fun job, but into the pick up....not a chance

Chutes are good. I just ordered a great loading ramp. I have one, but it isn't as steady and safe as I would like and is in two pieces
