Wow I am beyond excited. When I started college I struggled majorly. I end the first semester with 2 -C's and 1-B. I was not at all happy. My whole goal of school(other then to graduate and get a good job) was to get at least one A while I was here. Well, I continue to struggle, not so much with school anymore but lots of other personal life issues.
I took 4 classes this past semester. One of them was English...........my biggest down fall of all time. I am horried at spelling and grammer. While I have improved slightly, its not that great. I got told serveral times over my papers over all were good, but my grammer is way below average. This I know, but I had a terrible teacher who I didnt learn squat from. I would never take her again. That said I still managed to pull of a C, not great but happy I passed it.
Well now on to my other grades. I know I was walking a fine line of A/B in a few of my classes but really tried my best at finals to give it that last push. I checked grades today, they are all in final over all grades.................................................................
3-A's

This gives me a major incentive that I need. I am takeing 5 classes this next semester, then 3 over summer, then 5 again in the fall. I want to be done with school by this time next year. I am stressed as I know it will be hard and know I can only pull it off if they offer my needed classes.
But for now..............I am on cloud nine.
I also wanted to add, that after first semester here my GPA was terrible at a 2.3(the end of May 2007). After this semester I have managed to pull it back up to a 2.93. My goal is to leave school with a 3.5 or better.
