I'm not sure, but is the camera upside down, cause it looks like on the monitor the floor is on top. LOL. It is weird though, on my camera it looks down in the stall and it's a strange way of looking at the minis. An areal view.

I sure thought you were announcing a new foal though. LOL. Glad you got your camera. Way back when we got ours the monitor was set up in the living room next to the tv, and some friends came over with their kids who wanted to know what program we were watching (meaning the monitor). LOL

Congrats,..Countryhaven,.....You guessed it!!!

MY wonderful ,brilliant, Hubby,..Fred,..Installed my camera for me,....UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Soooo,.....In order for me to tell what Foxy is doing different times,......I have to bend over upside down as well!!!

UGGGHHH!!!,..He says that he is NOT moving it again,......*Guess,..I was too fussy,..in setting it up last night,..He had to screw it in a different place 5 times,..before I was happy*

Then I noticed,...Her legs were on top!!,..LOL  :new_shocked:

OK!!! YOU GOT ME!! :bgrin I almost ran to get my daughter to be the first to tell FOXY HAD HER BABY!! BUT...CONGRATS on your new camera!! I'm glad you got it before the baby came! What fun!! (I don't usually log on but just had to tell you YOU GOT ME WITH YOUR APRIL FOOL ANOUNCMENT!

Looking forward to the real thing here in Oklahoma! Thanks for a good laugh! Linda

Neat but that would drive me crazy being upside down. lf you like where it is just unscrew it and turn the plate around so the arm faces up and the head will be looking down on her we have ours a little higher up now so we can see the whole stall with no dead corners. Last night my next to foal mare spend a lot of time in the middle of the stall looking back up at me that was kind of uncanny and spooky till l saw a cat jump onto the railing close to where the cam head is.

FFFoxy you got me too!!!
default_yes.gif
:  I couldnt get the thread up fast enough I was so excited!!! Never mind at least you get to actually use your long awaited camera!! Do something really nice for your hubby and maybe he`ll turn the camera round...it would only take a minute tell him which is better than you waking him in the night because you cant figure out whats shes doing! .... and when you are checking in the early hours you need to know which way is up!! lol

You can always turn the monitor upside down till the camera gets changed! Our cameras came with mounting screw both top and bottom of the camera. That way you wouldn't have to move the base.

If you think you haven't been getting enough sleep before now you will be watching all night. At least right up til just before she delivers a nice filly for you! As you know you'll drift off to sleep just before she delivers! LOL!

Barnbum,...We had the monitor out in the barn,....LOL

Guess I was to excited to notice it until we got back to the house!
default_wacko.png
:

I think Fred might fix it today,....He is actually watching the cam once in a while,..and this morning ,...He said that it was driving him CRAZY,...soo,..he said that this afternoon we will fix it! YAYYYYYY!!!!

Oh,..by BTW,......DOES your monitors get really hot on top? ,....I can put my hand on it,...but,...it definitley feels really warm. And it still has that NEW,hot smell coming from it,..and it has been here for almost 3 days now,...I am scared it will melt or catch fire?

You got me too! I thought the horse was upside down (LOL) but I figured I was so tired from mare stare (have a big one overdue by 10 days) I wasn't seeing properly!

Terri, you got me, too! I am glad you got your camera - I used to do the sleep in the stall thing but my body says I am getting too old for that kind of shenanigans. I have my Saddlebrook Farm barn cam and after the first one had to be returned the new one works like a charm.

I spent a relaxed mare stare on my pony to get a baseline of how she behaves in the stall... eats and stands in one corner, 2AM - 4AM down, flat out for a bit and then up on her chest during this time period. This with me napping on and off as I was having trouble sleeping due to a wicked spring cold.

She is finally are starting to fill her bag but has more edema up in front (as I expect to see) and her tailhead muscles are just starting to get soft. My older son watched her roll in the field and he could not believe how big she is - I have seen her all along so she looks a little different here and there.

OK Foxy, we are waiting!!!

On your cow getting loose, my brother-in-law's family has a pig and cow farm in CT. I went on the slop run in the "pig rig" with him and his brother a few years back to pick up 20 55 gallon drums of restaurant plate scrapings that the pigs eat (ugh) from several stops.

On arrival at the farm and after the pigs were fed, my brother in law asked me to check a light in front of the pig rig and when I went up there, there was a Holstein bull standing there (he had gotten out and was making the rounds). I think my brother-in-law thought I was going to yell and run for cover but instead I scared the bull by stomping my feet and waving my arms and made him run like "H-E double toothpicks".

I told him, "I think I scared your 'cow'." They were disappointed that I didn't run and carry on.
