WOOO HOOOO!!!!!

In all our years "in minis", as of TODAY, we are FINALLY now official members of AMHA! :aktion033:

With our new gelding, Chuckie, our very first "AMHA" horse, we sent in our paperwork to transfer him to our name through the AMHA, and along with that, we applied for our AMHA Membership! Today we got our Official AMHA Membership cards in the mail, WOOOHOOOO!!! I'm SO EXCITED! :aktion033:

We also received our very first EVER, issue of "Miniature Horse World", December/2006. I feel like SUCH a NEWBIE now,LOL! This is SOOO COOL! We've now embarked on a WHOLE NEW WORLD of MINIS, all through our sweet little Chuckie-poo!

Also, today in the mail, we received a couple local club applications, one for a local AMHR club and another for a local AMHA club. We are SUPER EXCITED to be joining BOTH for 2007, and are looking foward to an awesome coming new year with activities among the AMHR, but ALSO, now with the AMHA! YAYYYYY!!!!!! :aktion033: :aktion033: :aktion033:

We've not shown our horses since our son was little. He did all of what little showing we did way back then, and that was primarily through AMHR, as we never owned any AMHA horses...TILL NOW! :aktion033:

Our son is all grown now, so it'll just be hubby and I, and not being among the AMHR show scene for so many years, and NEVER among the AMHA shows...this coming year in 2007...it's gonna literally be a whole new learning experience for us....so please have mercy on us, LOL, as we fumble our way along with all the "how to's, do's and dont's" of it all.

For starters, we're hoping to show in a driving class or two, just to get our feet wet. Our mare, Rose, for AMHR (hopefully), and our gelding, Chuckie, for AMHA "and" AMHR. We'll see how that goes I guess...and then we'll see what else, if anything, from there.

Anyways...looking forward to seeing ya'll soon....and not just from the "side seats" anymore...Lord willing.

Congratulations! :aktion033: I am so happy for you and envious that you are going to be able to show. As I've mentioned before, my wife and I both teach and the nearest shows are 3 - 4 hours from here. Just haven't fit it into our schedule yet. Hopefully when we retire in 5-7 years we will be able to show.

congradulations on the membership, you will really enjoy the competition and particularily the people you meet at the shows. It gets to be a real fun affair when you get to know everyone and start to refine your show routine to a fine T. My best advice is to try and meet as many people as you can at the shows so as to expand your base of new friends. You will find most everyone is willing to help a new person to feel at ease in the group of showaholics that you will meet.

Good luck and knock em dead in the coming year. Keep us all updated on what shows you are going to and maybe Cindy and I will get to meet you this coming year.

We are planning on trying to make at least one in conjuction with some seminars for a marketing group we belong to on the east coast and florida if possible. When you get your agenda set let us know where you are going this year and we will see if we can hook up.
