A lot of good advice, IMO....... Ditto to teeth check....and Ditto to upping the grain amount. We like Senior feed and will give up to 6 cups twice a day for a "hard keeper". Quality of hay is also important and plenty of it. Beet pulp is good, and if the hay is questionable, consider adding some alfalfa pellets.

As a last resort for a blood test, I'd have her thyroid checked....but only after every other option has been gone through.
 
Yes about the hay QUALITY. And I agree- I love the Purina Sr- I have used the adult and Jr. too with great success! But again, if the teeth are bad, doesnt matter what or how much you are feeding...
