Hi All,

I would love to see who is coming to AMHR National Show in Tulsa, OK on Sept of this year.

I have been going out there in couple years and I really enjoy to see the miniatures and meet the handler/breeder and watch the showing and see what the Judge picked and I couldn't be a Judge, because TOO many beautiful miniatures out there and I can't make my OWN pick!...

I would liked to meet you all and I will have to write it down to see who is coming and see you all!...

Do they show all day long or have some long break for the handler and breeder?

In last year, I was there and everyone was so BUSY!!...

God Bless!

It is indeed a busy time for everybody there. There are very few times when something is not going on with all the different classes etc.

But it is a fun time for everyone and we always find a little time to socialize and enjoy all the people there. I think we will have 7 or 8 horses there this year, so I hope to see you sometime during the show.

Don't be nervous about the show, it is just another horse show, only bigger. LOL

It is hard to find people! I've been a couple years in a row and I hardly ever meet anybody at their stalls.

I love going around to look at all the horses and watching the classes in the arena.

I say people should wear nametags!!!

HEHE!.. I do agree with you about should need to wear nametag!..

I get confused when I meet them in person!..

You coming to Tulsa, OK?

Oh what a great idea about the name tags. Last year was my first year and I had 2 horses this year I'm going Lord willing with 4. I'm so EXCITED.... I like also to go around and look at the stalls with all the beautiful horses, but I don't see many people at them..... :-( TJ

I will almost certinatly be there with Lyn Yung and crew.

I really want to be able to go this year!!! I dont know yet though...if I go I will probably only take my yearling mare and senior mare. Is there a website where all of the info will be posted such as due date for entries, date of show, class list, fees, ect.? Obviously if I get to go this year it will be my first time! Will have to see how this year goes though.

The info is on the AMHR webpage. I'm not sure if everything is up yet, but that's where it would be.

Nametags would be great - we could get the LB buttons, and put our names on there somewhere, and when not showing could have the button on. Or perhaps LB could create a NATIONAL or WORLD show button to sell or offer for donations with a blank in the middle for a name. With the money going to mini rescue???

HEY -- ANOTHER CONTEST IDEA!!!!! Oh Mary Looooouuuuuuuu . . . .

or better yet.. have a LB forum party one of the first few days of nationals where everyone can get together meet and have fun..then you'd recognize faces for the rest of the week!

hehehe i'm a little biased though because i love parties..LOL

Is anyone else coming?....

I remember it was so MANY minaitures at Tulsa, OK and I can't count how many!..

It was fun and hopefully this time the weather will be SUPER nice and warm!.. hehe!!..

I plan to go barring any unforeseen issues... taking 3-5 of them! Hopefully in the Super Duty barn again.

My partner Deb and I will be there!! I have a yearling stallion in training with Adam Longman who we plan to take and show!!

I have never shown at Nationals...I was "supposed" to go in 2001, but I wimped out after 9/11 and didn't want to travel basically alone (caravaning with another group) across the country! It was all so "fresh" and I didn't want to leave my family...

Then I went to Nationals in 2003 to watch, which was fun cuz I wasn't stressed out...lol

I am excited to finally be showing a horse at the National show!!

Someone had a list of Forum Members going last year, I think it was Ozark Mountain? You could sign your name and put your stall numbers and barn down so everyone could find you. I know we signed it and checked out a bunch of others on the list

I am hoping to be there again this year. I think the Lil Beginnings buttons are a great idea!!!!!

As far as I know right now, Sharon and I will be there in our usual positions. It is easier for Sharon to say Hi and meet you folks while she is working at the gate. I am easy to find, but harder to talk to being in the middle of the ring. But when I am ona break, please introduce yourselves if I haven't met you before. I love to be able to put a face to a name.

We might go, just to watch and say hi to everyone we run across!

I'll be there unless the world falls apart. Planning on taking 3-4. Will hope to be back down in barn "C" across from the vendor entry to the arena. Will be stalled with my trainer Pat Elder. Hope to see everyone there.

We're hoping to be able to go for a couple of days........just to watch and meet folks. I also like the idea of the LB Buttons!

We are planning to attend -- probably with 5 horses.

We planned to go last year but were involved in a vehicle accident the week the entries had to be in & I just couldn't deal with all of the insurance issues & get my entries done at the same time so we missed out, Should have done it though - we had our star helper last year-- Joe won't be with us this year so we are going to sure miss him in a BIG way .

We should be in the Super Duty Barn probably like as stalled previously before along with Bruce Abbott from Dawns Chase Farm, all the McCarthy's from McCarthy's Lakeside Stables, Dr. Tom & Shirley Taylor from Taylors Pony Farm, Cheryl, Heather and David Powell from Lucky Trails Farm as well. We are planning on bringing 5 or perhaps 6 horses to Nationals. See you there in Tulsa, we will be there from start to the end for the stake classes. Drop by and say "Hello"
