Your Favorite Horse Names?

I know I've done this thread at least twice over the years, but I love to read your favorite names! I don't mean name your favorite horse, but what registered names do you think sound the neatest?

Out of the horses I own, these are the registered names I love the most:

• Triple H Derby Day Miracle

I love day dreaming of names and have several I look forward to using in the future. I would bet a lot of us like day dreaming up names

Of my favorites that I own, I love:

Country Haven's Red Hot N' Rollin' == I named him that because he was a moving machine from the moment he hit the ground. I had no idea that a year later it would come to mean he was so fat and round I could roll him down the aisle. LOL

Lost Acres True Blue Buckaroo--I just love that way that sounds, and it fits her, being from that bloodline, and being a blue roan.

Then our filly from this year, Country Haven's In The Black--we most certainly are not, like most of us, the farm runs on pure red ink, but it sure is nice to dream about, and she's such a velvety black.

Flying A Magic's Do You Wanna Dance

Think of how many foal names I can come out of that, which I already have done cause I'm stupid like that lol.

Another one I like is JMS Midnight's Appy Alert.

Named one this year CLC Kolor B Gonn, he was an almost white tovero.............he sold to Pinto people and they really didn't like the name, so I allowed them to change it, and is is now CLC Color Coordinated.

I do like Freds registered name which is Rolling Ridge Rum Runner and I like the names I gave his two babies. Blessings Blackpowder Run and Blessings Heartsong. However, I love Becky but I hate the name Rolling Ridge "Ravishing" Rebekah. I think Kathy was drinking when she named most of the horses. Linda

I had Smokin' Colt Pistol picked out for a year passing up several babies before naming our horse now that has that name. He just looked like he was going to be a pistol

: I like his Dad's name, Howdy's Smokin' Gun, another son of his Smokin' Most Wanted, and I also like Erica's Smoke Rings In The Dark, and Cross Country Mr. Natural. Both of our babies names were kinda neat this year, one is Ringo's daughter that we named Flaming Ring of Fire and we call her Flame, the other one this year is a baby by one of our mares that my duaghter had bred to Erica's Bandito. She named her a spanish name, Dulce Sarita meaning Sweet Princess.

Breanne, I had 2 sheets of names before the fillies were born, and I didn't use a single one. Blessing was born on Mother's Day, so that was easy. None of the names fit Whisper at all. I spend a lot of time in the stall to come up with the perfect fit. Suddenly my daughter says, "she looks like a Whisper." She was so petite compared to Blessing. So, I worked it into An Angel Whispered to fit the Little Church theme.

I'm not making any lists this time.

LOL, that's probably what I will end up doing.

But a girl can dream, right? :lol:

and heres a funny story, a friend of mine was at ashow and they saw a horse very like there own, so my frinds went over and asked what there horse was out of

the man replied, its by a horse called,

OVER A FENCE by MUDDY WATERS ......I COULDNT STOP LAUGHING!! :lol:
