how do you "no way" with our making them mad?

..........without reading the all other posts I would tell her no problem, BUT before I do ANY outside breeding whether mare registered or not, I must see that the mare is correct in certain areas, ( including bite )and to which stallion she would be most suited. Explain that whether the foal...

    Dead foals

My vet said one time stop doing that you're robbing from the baby. Actually, you are only using 1/2cc of milk at a time- literally, a drop in the bucket. For me, it's worth it. It's not like you're stripping her of everything she's got. Lucy I do realize it is such a tiny droplet Lucy, and I...

    Can Shetlands fit??

Friends brought my ayrshire cow home for me in a mini trailer, yep I said a mini trailer. She didn't seem to mind it a bit. She took the length of it too ( except the neck area ) Their trailer has a large horse undercarriage so the weight didn't hurt it. She rode home quite nicely.

    Transporting Pregnant Mares

Not sure if you were asking her how to figure how far along a mare was or just what, BUT if that is what you were asking go to the top of the page and click on/go to Lil Beginnings Main Page, then to Mini Horses Info Pages then locate the link for Breeding Horses, in there you will find info for...

    Question on AMHA tranfer

What type of printer do you use. I can print a pic on photo paper and it is kinda crappy, on card paper it looks great. I am thinking of a better quality printer but not sure which way to go.

    hoof abcess

I agree, we had a gelding with a deep one and he was given a round of antibiotics. Besides, I don't think it will harm him at this time with the hoof the way it is.

    Coco

Thanks Leeanna, and sorry I didn't catch the other update. It sounds like he is improving and I do hope he continues to do so. I do think it is a good idea to have the vet re-check him before taking him off meds as he sounds like he still has some congestion of sorts in there. Also, please don't...

    colic due to snow consumption

Hi solupe, sorry to hear about your friends horse. Regardless of how the colt got the colic I am glad he is at the vets and hopefully on the road to recovery. If she/he thinks the colt got it from eating snow, and he wasn't getting enough water intake she/he should possibly consider other ways...
