This thought came to me. FYI, I have no knowledge of minis wearing boots. When in parades or inside building, boots are on to stop slipping. I don't know about in water. Would boots help while washing too?

I like to do a fecal test before worming. Then go by Vet's recommendation. I'm in the desert and mine are on a dry lot all the time. Totally different than your area.

He will be your "buddy"! I have had my donkey, Jeffrey for 18 months he is about 18 yrs. I can call him my "bud" He has progress so much, as he wouldn't want to be caught when brought him home. Many happy, enjoyable times lay ahead for you with all three :)

@Marsha Cassada , I should change my thinking on possums and raccoons. They have been here long enough now that they probably are native here. Growing up here we never had them. Population has grown, climate has changed which probably has brought them. I was reliving the "good ole days" 🤣

Sorry you dealing with rats! Grr. Did the Dept of Ag give any help on deterring or why they are so active this year? We have possums and raccoons, which aren't native to our area. How did they get here?:mad: Set a trap, caught a possum but the raccoon was to fall for it.

9/30 Not reporting my walk, just friends stopped by with their 4 yr grand daughter, who loves horses. So, I had her help groom Mint and Kingsley and then she led them around our lot with us close. Mint and Kingsley did great with her. She asked to lead Jeffrey. Who can resist a donkey? Jeffrey...
