    If You C.A.R.E.

Imitation may be a compliment but this person or group is not connected to C.A.R.E. in any way... C.A.R.E would never publish rumors... The C.A.R.E group sticks to the facts.. C.A.R.E is not anonymous as we do have members sign all letters.. The C.A.R.E Group http://www.amhawatch.com/

Have you had a dwarf born on your Farm

I think it would be interesting to see how many of these dwarfs were born in the last five yrs. since we have learned more from reading LB.. Another thing that would be interesting is if these are AMHA or AMHR horses.. and if AMHR A or B division... If the majority are AMHA .... then...

A Plausible Solution to AMHA's problems

Bingo I am not dismissing anyone.. I asked that Gary lay out his plan... and stated where I saw a conflict of interest..

A Plausible Solution to AMHA's problems

I was thinking the trainers and pro handlers as the "(professionals" No I don't think all fall into the rut, but it still seems a conflict of interests to be handling client horses and also judging.. It is out there as a possible and even maybe probable favortisim. If the AMHA is going to be...

A Plausible Solution to AMHA's problems

Having the "(professionals" on the grievance committee seems to me to be a conflict of interests.. much like having them being judges.. It would soon be right back to one hand washes the other.. You have already said that they are in a feeding frienzy to acquire any available clients..and the...

A Plausible Solution to AMHA's problems

Gary how do you propose to set up this grievance committee? Who is going to be on the grievance committee? Would this grievance committee have any push to change things that are being incorrectly done or it is just more chiefs to do the same old... ?????? It is very hard to lend support to...

    Central Championship Show

I am happy to hear the measuring saw a great improvement... Did anyone protest the horse that people thought was to big?? Now if the AMHA were to send out a memo to all clubs that the measuring must be done correctly or large finds will be imposed maybe this issue will come to a close...

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

I guess we will see if an effort to correct the measuring problem is addressed at the nationals.. If cheating is still allowed other answers to the problem must be found.. My point being if we can not fix the problem by having honest measuring done, then allowing them that insist on trying to...

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

The change that I was looking for was to have the reasons people cheat addressed without going on a witch hunt... If the over sized had their own division completely, there would be no reason to cheat.. This measuring thing has been going on for a very long time and has to be fixed in some...

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

Exactly... and if the over sized were not allow to show against the 34'" and under, the little guys would stand a better chance and I feel we would see more and better smaller horses.

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

This is a quote from R3 and the reason I posted this thread.. She makes some very valid points.. There are benefits to allowing 'oversize' horses to be kept in the gene pool. Maybe not with 'regular' AMHA papers, but at least with some documentation and the ability to have 'regular' AMHA...

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

I do not show.. but in Alberta AMHR shows are almost non existent if at all .. by allowing a B division within the AMHA more people would have a chance to show..

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

From what I have been reading here these over sized horses are being used now to produce AMHA horses.. It it were legal maybe the right size would show up on their registration papers and stud book allowing the rest of us the choice to breed with more knowledge.. and know exactly how tall they...

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

It would also allow B sized horses to be double registered..

How many are interested in a legal AMHA over sized division

This is just my personal opinion... I think that forming an over sized division within the AMHA would be good for the AMHA if this division was completely separate from American Miniature Horses.. as far as show is concerned. Why??? 1. Not loosing the bloodlines of some exceptional horses...

    Height of minis, breeding, etc.

From the Standard of Perfection "Since the breed objective is the smallest possible perfect horse, preference in judging shall be given the smallest horse, other characteristics being approximately equal..." The resent post on the smallest horse that is not a dwarf tells me there are lots of...
