    Co-owning a mare

I'll get this out REALLY quick. I don't like co-owning anything but she's a really good friend. Anyways, I bought a filly (that I just adore!) from someone on here, and while we were there I asked if they had anything for cheap. They did, my friend didn't have her checkbook so I went ahead and...

I have a few questions and opinions...

Its a program for The mustangs. It's called TIP. The trainers have the horses for 30 days free of charge to the new owners. I made a deal with the trainer that I would do an extra 60 days to get a good handle on him. Well it's be 120 not including the first 30 days that were free. I'm going to...

Is it necessary to be certified to trim minis feet?

I trim my own minis. My farrier will come out and shoe the biggies. When he does he'll check the little ones. The rescue I took in has been the only one he's really messed with.

I have a few questions and opinions...

Update! Well he's still acting the same after the vet came out and did his teeth, The trainer thinks its because he has a larger pallet(roof of his mouth) thats there reason for everything. There was also a chiro out and I went ahead and told him to get Cody (mustang) worked. The trainer gave...

Breaking large minis for small children to ride

Just throw the blanket on and off. Do the same to the saddle. cinch it, and walk around with the horse till it doesn't mind it. Do it for awhile. Then find a bigger kid that can handle the bucking and sort of go from there.

    A Buckskin or Dunskin?

I really couldn't tell you too much about IBHA, but black/buckskin are colors, dun are markings expressed on a color.

    A Buckskin or Dunskin?

Its basically a buckskin with the dun gene. Just like a grulla is a black horse with dun genes and fades the body hair lighter, This a buckskin with the dun genes.

I have a few questions and opinions...

Oh I know, but the vet said that shouldn't have been that much of a problem. I talked to him and they said they ride him to see how he goes. I'm honestly ready just to take him home, even if that means a good argument with the trainer.

    Clipper Help Please

My andis came with the black things. first pair that did. Good luck! I had a extra blanket on my yearling colt because he was so cold. This has been the coldest weather for us.

I have a few questions and opinions...

The vet came today. They said he had a couple sharp points. Thats it. Makes no sense to me that a horse would act that bad over a couple sharp points.
