I got my Prevenile in 5 dose vials from Heartland Vet Supply. It was the same cost per shot as the Merial Recombitek.

I've used the Merial Recombitek since they came out with it, never had a problem with it, I love that vaccine. This year however I'm switching to the Prevenile because my vet told me to, it's a far superior vaccine. You only give it once a year and there is no booster needed even on horses...

I think everyone is on the right track in what they are telling you. Nootka said it well, In my opinion as well, it's irresponsible to breed something less than GOOD quality horses, that doesn't mean they have to be show quality. I have a couple of horses that are really nice conformation...
