Hey..I have 'tried' to like the taller ones, started a "B" program only to have to let it go because I just don`t have the time to devote to both...sold the stallion this summer and still have a little taller mare to let go of. HOWEVER, I have always loved the little ones...so welcome aboard!!!

Gosh Carolyn, I am inspired!!! I often make plans to do those things and then get side-tracked...but if I get "some" of it done I feel very proud of myself. Love that great feeling of accomplishment!!!

I have been using the large (Rubbermaid I think) tank with a heater coil that comes with it. Got it at Tractor Supply YEARS ago and its still working fine!! I also use a heavy duty extension cord and I have it running along the fenceline where they cannot bother it...but have used the plastic...

I am so sorry Leanna...its never easy to lose a foal, esp. when its one you were so anxious for. I am glad the mare is OK and hopefully the next time you will get a nice full term FILLY.

I use my van often for hauling horses and for the "natural" things that can happen, I have had good luck with heavy shower curtains put over the carpeting...and then for bedding I use old bed sheets and old towels. They absorb the wet stuff and the sheets will cover up some of the more solid...

My granddaughter seems to be very serious about working with my gelding for next summer. She wants to show in the jumping classes and halter obstacle. Does anyone know where I can get a dvd or video (prefer dvd) of those classes?? I know they are coming up at the Nationals, but I will not be...
